Stopped in for the very first time to grab a coffee, I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and their brown butter syrup which I liked that they make it in house. Also grabbed a cinnamon roll!
There were ppl setting up for a band which I thought was cool. When I walked in though noone was at the counter and the kitchen staff that did appear through the door never acknowledged me or that someone would be right with me. The lady who did take my order (she was grabbing items for other guests when I arrived) was very nice and polite! Being that it was my first time I’ll have to come back and try the food/beer as it appears that you can order off the Tavern menu on the Cafe side as well.

I love the cinnamon bun tea latte, it has a little spice which I didn’t know about but very much enjoyed. The staff is super sweet and helpful. There was some serious chemistry between the bartenders it was very sweet to watch coworkers not only getting along but enjoying each other’s company. The food was good but could use just a wee bit more seasoning. The southwest rolls had a lovely texture but needed a little something

Took my kids in today for the first time, and was disappointed there wasn’t more of a kids menu, they basically secretly told us they can make grilled cheese but that’s it. My son got a bagel with cream cheese and my daughter wouldn’t get anything. I got a club sandwich and gave her some, which she ate, but I wasn’t going to spend upwards of $15 for her to pick at something. The club sandwich was very good, and I enjoyed it. They don’t have table service, you order at the counter and take a number and find a table and they bring it out to you. Maybe we were just unfamiliar but we had to ask for napkins and silverware. The cafe itself is kind of on the small side, but very cozy and well done inside, bright with lots of windows. We ordered a caramel brownie to go and it is huge! Bigger than my hand! It didn’t taste like caramel and it was so dry, more like a dry piece of coffee cake than a moist brownie. Very disappointing since the brownie was $7! Not sure if we’ll be back, but nice for a variety of deli sandwiches and nice country location in Dixboro.

Stopped for a light brunch/lunch after a Dr. appointment in the area. Such a cute, quaint location. Clear and concise menu and very friendly staff members! We ordered a bagel sandwich and a cinnamon roll to eat in. Everything was fresh and delicious! The bagel sandwich was put together perfectly and not just slapped together – it took several minutes for it to come out but I prefer that anyway for quality food. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Comfortable and fun setting! I would definitely willingly return anytime!

I had MoonWinks on my ‘to visit’ list for a few years now and I finally made it in for breakfast. It was delightful! Situated in the idyllic downtown Dixboro, it has an aesthetic that is more modern yet seems to fit right in. The space is clean and bright, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. And the food was top quality. Elevated bagel sandwiches anyone?
They have fußball out on the patio and a tavern next door. Definitely coming back to try the tavern one day.

Great place for lunch and a relaxing break. The space was cozy and welcoming, with just the right balance of openness and warmth.
I loved the color of the couches and tables, which added to the cozy vibe, and I enjoyed being surrounded by people crocheting, reading, chatting.
I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich and an iced latte. The chicken pesto sandwich was good-the chicken was soft, juicy, and well-cooked. The iced latte was just okay; it was stirred, but I prefer it to be layered with milk and espresso separated.

Great cafe/coffee spot for meeting with friends, grabbing lunch, and getting some work done. Most tables seat at least 4, but as a party of one, no one bothered me about occupying “too much space.” I ordered the Italian sandwich for lunch and got some work there at a nice table with lots of natural lighting. A few features I enjoyed: Community board, bathrooms for customers, easy access to Wifi and outlets, outdoor seating options, free parking lot. Next time, I look forward to trying their coffee and bagels – they serve local Hyperion coffee.

Service is top tier! Extremely welcoming and inviting atmosphere from staff. Bagels & sandwiches were so good and coffee was just right. I’d give 6 stars if I could for the great service, not too many places have people that care anymore, very refreshing that Moonwinks does.

The place receives a two-star rating. The aesthetics and ambiance are charming and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a quaint coffee shop experience. However, the overall comfort and welcoming atmosphere of the place is immediately diminished by the interactions and appearance of the staff. All the staff members appeared disheveled and unkempt, raising concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the food. When inquiring about the origin of the bagels, some staff members seemed uninformed, while others responded with a dismissive attitude, offering no detailed description of their source. Moreover, the staff exhibited mocking facial expressions towards customers and seemed more interested in engaging in conversations amongst themselves. They also failed to establish eye contact with customers during interactions, further detracting from the overall experience.

Food: All around decent food, a little pricey$$. Tuna sandwich on sourdough bread did not look or taste like sourdough bread. They forgot to put the pickle that was supposed to come with the sandwich. Minestrone soup had too much of an aged parmesan taste and it was a bit cold. Lox Bagel had maybe 1 whole slice of salmon could barely taste it. I consider myself a coffee connoisseur, Latte was probably a 3/10, the espresso tasted old.
Service: Staff very apathetic and dry. If you’re dining in you’re allowed 30 min. One of the ladies asked a group of 4 people to start packing although no one was waiting for tables.
Cleanliness: 4/5. The tables were clean. Bathrooms were clean yet no paper towel in the dispenser.
Parking: big parking lot with tons of parking.
