My husband and I had dinner here. I ordered the carne asada tacos & my husband ordered the carne asada burrito. The burrito was HUGE! The food was delicious! The salsa for the chips is amazing! I wish I could have ordered the salsa in a gallon size to go! Our server was Fatima & she was wonderful! So polite, bubbly & sweet.. I wish every server, everywhere was just like her! She deserves a BIG RAISE! If you are in the area, please stop by and enjoy the food & wonderful service. You won’t be disappointed! 10/10 definitely recommend!

It was my first time trying this restaurant and will not comeback anymore. The food was really disappointing. I ordered a cóctel de camarón and a carne asada plate. The carne was extremely dry, and the cóctel only had a few shrimp. For the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it. 🙁

I got hip to this restaurant by picking up a few orders there. I decided to look at their menu and saw they had a bunch of different options I would have never expected. We got the #8 Camerones con crema and the #44 Parrillada estillo Guayabitos. The #44 is exactly what I was looking for, it’s similar to a seafood boil but it says it’s fried. It’s not greasy at all and there’s a lot of seafood and veggies. I wish there was more crab but there’s a ton of shrimp, head on shrimp and deheaded shrimp.
The #8 was really good too, they also have one with tomato based sauce. The dinner plates come with salad, rice and beans on the side. I’ll definitely be going back here. They have a bunch of options that I’ve never tried I could eat here every day of the week and not get bored.

This place has the best food I have ever had! Thank you Emmanuel for helping me pick the right food according to my likes. You are a gem in that restaurant very profession with great customer care!!!!. Anytime anyone is in Modesto CA, this is the the place to go have a very fresh glass of orange juice made from scratch!

Terrible prices, worse food. I ordered beef fajitas for $18.99. I got vegetarian fajitas with about 2 ounces of beef. The meat was flavorless, overcooked, utility grade beef. Ironically, the vegetables were under-cooked or completely raw. Atop the fajitas was a quesadilla which looked and tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. The beans and instant rice tasted about like you would expect. In lieu of pico de, guacamole, and or sour cream that you find at many Mexican restaurants, Guayabitos served a small salad with the fajitas. This salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and a few specs of red cabbage. The server offered three dressings: ranch, Italian, and 1000 island dressing. Don’t waste your time and money trying Guayabitos Restaurant – you will not leave happy!

I was surprised at the dissaray in the staff when I returned from my car to pick up the order.
I had ordered in person, and when I walked back up to ask about my order, the staff was clueless and had no idea what I was talking about.once they located my order, I had my items shortly after that.
I was confused with the look and taste, but I was staying close by, so I gave them a try.
I did not get sick, I was just really disappointed.

I can’t speak to the food because I wasn’t able to place my order. They were blasting music at volume 11 and everyone seemed busy behind plexiglass. I was here around 4pm on a Saturday. Great location, woulda loved a bite to eat, will try again next time I’m in town. Great location next to the fwy.
