Some people have complained about them not being able to substitute on a Denver omelet. When the menu clearly states that there will be no substitutions. These kind of people are what the world calls a Karen. Its not burger king and you can’t have it your way.
Anyways, holding the pickles and the lettuce- this place delivers clean good home made food. No glitter or smoke and mirrors. Great service and good times. That kind of place where everyone knows your name. I will be coming back again, as the waitress alone made me feel welcomed.

Yesterday, I was so excited that I was in the area to be able to order from corner bakery so I ordered via Uber. I had remembered the last sandwich I had gotten from corner bakery, which was a tomato mozzarella sandwich that was so good and my expectations were so high. Imagine my disappointment when it arrived and it was frozen and it was dripping in soggy mush. I tried to call the establishment nobody answered. I wanted to let them know so not recommended. They still haven’t answered the phone. I’ve been trying to call.

From the moment you walk through the door, it’s like you’ve entered a time capsule. From the decor to the ladies working, this place is authentic. Sweet tea and sweet treats, all guilt free while being made with Splenda, the possibilities are endless. The food. Amazing! To say the least. I opted for the chicken fried steak with eggs and potatoes. So delicious. So tender you won’t need a knife. My daughter got the mini corn dogs with fries. Also pretty darn good. Not sure there’s an item that wouldn’t be home made from scratch and taste amazing.
The sweet couple John and Arlean let my daughter take the last cinnamon roll (Arlean shared with me that they make them from scratch on Fridays and once there gone there gone) after they already ordered it. Too kind. I hope they enjoyed there free breakfast; it was the least I could do for their kindness towards my daughter.
We’ll definitely be back, and soon!

Corner Cafe: Where semi-average food meets a retirement home atmosphere.
Although several reviews rave about the prices here, food would have been worth it if prices were lowered. As a local guide, I have visited other places nearby with similar prices and exponentially better food.
I ordered the Denver omelette. They refused to sub ANY of the ingredients. They were extremely heavy on the cheese and potatoes were dry as Texas in mid June.
Please, for the love of everything, do not get the sausage patty. My son ordered it and it’s clearly a frozen patty (if it’s not, I would be surprised). It was so hard to chew and dry.

It wasn’t the greatest, although my stepdaughter loved the chicken fingers. I did not like that there was grease on the plate under the chicken and the fries on her plate. I asked for eggs scrambled hard and they were pretty wet that I only ate a small portion. The hash browns that came with my plate were just the French fries diced up which is fine but they were a bit greasy. The pancake and bacon were alright.
The servers and staff were nice, prices reasonable for a small “family diner”.

What a awesome place to eat!! Affordable prices and great food. Big portions. Wow! Chicken fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole was tasty. $10.49 before tax is a great price. They have breakfast too and served until 2 pm when they close so get here sooner for that.

Always great service, great prices, good comfort food, and we are so blessed that it is not far from our home.
They had a roving beverage gentleman who had our water and coffee almost before we got settled in our seats.
I love the old-fashioned, unlimited supply of paper napkins along with all the essentials and extras.
The whole meal for two (in our attached photos) with beverages came out to $21.

Came here for a Sunday breakfast because there was immediate seating. We were seated quickly but then our friends asks to join us and we asked if it was okay to wait on them. Staff were super nice about it and made the accommodations. Specials board switched views a bit too quickly so I simply took a picture of it.
Didn’t get it, but the Chicken Fried Steak looks so good we might have to come to this side of the metroplex just for it.

Hey guys if you want some good old southern food. You’ve gotta try Corner Cafe in North Richland Hills. The food was delicious and a really good price. They don’t offer military discount BUT they do have very reasonable prices for their food. I ordered Eggs Benedict. With home fries smothered and covered with a side of gravy and fresh fruit. It was great. The service fast and delightful. Thank you #TheCornerCafeNorthRichlandHills I will be back and I’ll meet you at the corner
