I can not say enough positive things about my experience. The restaurant was extremely clean &well organized. The menu items were freshly made, hot, & delicious. The portions were very generous and the prices reasonable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this great eatery. I will most definitely be eating there every time I am near.

Ordered the Fish~Oyster~Shrimp Fried dinner and it did not disappoint! The staff was so friendly, the food was freshly prepared, and such large portions with reasonable prices. Overall, this has become my new Favorite Seafood joint for local eats

Food was good. The Cashier that helped me order, was awesome. Had fried chicken gizzard, little tough to eat. Breading on them was best I ever had though. Definitely 5 stars for service. Will try again, hopefully better next time.

After reading/hearing good things about Sam’s Southern Eatery, we where looking forward to giving it a try.
Unfortunately, our first experience proved disappointing. We order two 4 piece fish dinners, one with double coleslaw as the 2 included sides and one with red beans & rice and fries as the 2 sides.
When my husband arrived home and opened the containers, we discovered that we were actually given two identical, but incomplete, orders. Each container held 4 pieces of fish, a handful of limp tough fries (they had put the fish directly on top of the fries which pretty much guaranteed they would not stay at all crispy) and 2 hushpuppies in one and 1 in the other. The food we did get was mediocre at best and over salted.
I did not call directly to complain since we had a very long day and had no desire to make a trip back for a corrected order. I did, however, contact the restaurant through the provided email address. Additionally, no receipt was in the bag, so we don’t even know if the order he was given was even ours.
In hindsight, we are regretting the generous tip we included for a take out order.
Spending over $30 for 2 incorrect/incomplete orders has definitely left us with a negative reaction to Sam’s Southern Eatery.

Love it, love it, love it. Clean establishment. Fantastic service, very friendly. The food is authentic, fresh and very tasty. Good prices for large portions, large variety for everyone even the kids. I am from Georgia and find it refreshing to find a restaurant up here with true Southern tastes…and good sweet tea. We will keep coming back!

This place is really good, fish fired is excellent, breading is not greasy or oily,
baked fish is great as well,2pc fried 2pc baked, salad on the plate ,fries are good. Food is made to order nothing precooked except gumbo ,and red beans and rice. Clean and orderly. Good spot for the family.

All the food we have eaten from Sam’s has been very good. Generous portions. First pick up was a little slow, parked an extra 20 minutes. Second was better but with time those issues hopefully work themselves out.

This place is awesome! Puts long johns to shame. Large portions. Reasonable price. Be hungry if you go. I can see why they have been so busy since they opened. Soon they will have ice cream as well. Highly recommend!
