Even though they are never ready when they say the food is good. The serving size was plenty . Only thing wish my plantains were fresh out the oil

My recent meal was a bit of a letdown, to be honest. ️ I ordered some griot, and it lacked flavor and was cut the size of a chicken leg. Next time, I’m hoping for a bit more zest with my pork. Maybe I’ll try a different spot for my next Haitian food adventure!

Horrible! No acknowledgment of me standing there, waiting for a menu to order, when I asked if they had oxtails, she pointed to the QR code, while she was talking on her personal phone. I sat there and was waiting for her to get off the phone, trying not to be rude and then she rudely said to me what do you want.. didn’t I just tell her oxtails? Anyway, she said they will be ready in 15 minutes and continue her phone conversation. I sat there for 15 minutes, when she yelled across the bar that they didn’t have oxtails and I could order something else. Before I cussed her out, I just left politely and googled another restaurant THAT HAD OXTAILS. I would NOT recommend anyone to visit this place, go to Irie Dinner instead, the food and SERVICE is top tier.

This new restaurant, located in Orange Park, is a new gemstone in the community. The flavors of the food are bold and delicious. The food makes you feel as if there is a Hatian grandmother working in or running the kitchen. I met the owner, and his white glove service made me feel very special. The newly renovated space is modern, live and fun. You have to check this place out if you have not already!

1st time ever there and I am not happy. I was presented with a menu but the prices presented were inaccurate. I paid 20.00 for 5 pieces of akra and 2 pieces of chicken. When I asked why so much so said the price reflected are incorrect and they give big pieces of Akra. I am home eating the food and the chicken is good but that Akra is disgusting, there was no seasoning added to that dish. I don’t understand what I paid for whatsoever. I am not happy

I ordered food from this Haitian restaurant in Orange Park, FL, and it was a complete disappointment. The food was bland, poorly prepared, and far from fresh. For the high price they charge, I expected quality and flavor, but what I got was the opposite. Portions were small, presentation was unappealing, and the taste was nowhere near authentic.

The service was just as bad — slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for good Haitian food.

Stewed chicken was good ( leg and chicken back ) this was different for me when I’m use to receiving legs and thighs on my plate.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I visited this place lastnight for the first time hoping it would be as good as the reviews said. When I first came in I wasn’t even greeted. I let the lady with the short hair and long fingernails know what I wanted followed by a picture. Everything I said in English had to be translated by a guy siting at the table she didn’t even understand what I was saying and speaking in another language aggressively towards me as if I can’t read body language. I showed her a picture of CHICKEN WINGS onions Piklitz salad and Plantains. She said they have all of that. Obviously they didn’t. I asked her how much my total would be she said 18. And some change… nd there would be a 15 min wait. So I waited inside my car because it was hot in there and I didn’t like the energy, I really wanted some Haitian food so I had no choice. The place I usually go to was closed so I was left with no choice but this place. This was totally my last option. I came back in after 15 mins and my food was ready. I should’ve took a picture of the plate it looked like a tray full of food my Great Grandmother put together for the cats outside. My plate consisted of fried hard CHICKEN THIGHS fried harder than my own thighs, Salad on top of my chicken thighs, plantains and etc. everything was dry looking and fried hard. I let her know this isn’t what I ordered she aggressively told me yes it is and that I didn’t say chicken wings. I know what I said because I know what I wanted. Go back to Haiti and cook the food on top of your head this isn’t the place for you. Horrible customer service! The lady at the counter was very rude and aggressive. I ignored it up until the end. I proceeded to walk off and she yelled at me to come back. Girl goodnight and bye. Maybe loosen the belt around your waist so you can hear better. Luckily I didn’t pay.
