I ordered salt & pepper on catfish fillets. The fact that an entire bottle of pepper was dumped on the fish is RIDICULOUS! Young teens in the restaurant playing instead of being professional. I don’t live down the streets so getting all the way home to see this mess was upsetting to say the least. Family waiting for Sunday dinner and this is what they got on too of the food not being ready even after waiting an additional 20min so over an hour wait in total. Waste of $33.19.

Young kids in the back don’t know what they doing. Charged me for extra mild sauce it was barely even anything on there m. Chicken was dry and old and nasty. I wouldn’t send my GRANDMA there. calumet city location in the suburbs is the best one don’t go to dyer

I understand that prices are up everywhere, that’s fine, I don’t mind paying for Harold’s What I DO mind is paying for a 2 Breast Dinner and getting the half breast big bone hybrid cheap cut piece of chicken. This location NEVER did this before. Merrillville routinely does it, which is why we stopped going there. Don’t join all the Greedy businesses who take advantage of their customers and blame the economy. DO BETTER.

Tonight on my way to work I ordered a 6 piece. I pick up order and everything seemed fine. I get to work which was a short ride from the restaurant and my food was horrible. I asked for crispy which it was not and you could tell it also wasn’t fresh. I asked for lemon pepper on the wings and nothing. Plus the wings had feathers all on them. The only thing worth eating was the fries. This place has really went down and I use to order from them all the time for personal and for my work events. I think it’s time I stopped spending my money here. A total waste of money.

I purchased the 8 piece wings and they were very good. Mozzarella sticks weren’t that great. Fries were ok. But I went for the wings and it didn’t disappoint.

When in the area we always order chicken from this location. The last time was about a year ago and from I remember the food was hot, fresh and delicious! This was NOT the case today! I took my kids to the jumpy place down the street, placed my order and we walked down to eat! When we walked in, the store smelled of really strong chemical/cleaning spray! The tables and floors were not cleaned and trash was on the floor. We ordered chicken tenders and fries for the kids and 6 piece fried hard, lemon pepper w/ extra sauce and fried green tomatoes. Everything was just wrong and not what we expected for $40. The fried green tomatoes were extremely thin and couldn’t see nor taste the tomato ( I’m not sure if it was an actual tomato in there) the breading was fried HARD!!! Our chicken wings were huge, not fried hard and barely any sauce, that we paid extra for. Now to my kids chicken tenders, they had a weird color to the breading almost as if it was really old oil maybe. We asked for ketchup for their tenders, THEY CHARGED FOR THE KETCHUP!!!!!! You mean to tell me, we paid $40 for all this food and we can get ketchup packets? I just can’t get over this. I say all this to say, just pass by and go to another location! This food and service was terrible and disappointing! I really hate spending money on food and It’s not satisfying!

Called in order & she said 20 mins & it was hot & fresh & perfect timing! The Crew was all smiles & friendly. Got me a Cat & 3Wing combo with Xtra mild on everything. I ate this DELICIOUS MEAL in the car in like 5 mins I wish I savored it more but it was SO PERFECT. Catfish crispy seasoned & cooked 2 perfection as well as the wings. Juicy crunchy crispy perfection ! Everything I come thru Dyer I WILL BE STOPPING HERE! I haven’t had such delicious perfect heralds since I had the one in Glenwood Illinois years ago. You all need to come to Crown Point, IN like yesterday! We will welcome you with open arms!
