I wish there were pictures of every dish. I google every dish the night before to try something new. I love their Halo Halo. The cashier gave me the wrong dish. And said it was our mistake: but beef and pork are too different things instead of making me the correct dish told me that the beef she gave me was pork. I ate it but I wanted to try the red pork dish so I went elsewhere and had it. And loved it. Not going to argue for a simple mistake even though it’s upsetting since we are the ones spending our money. We want to get what we asked for. Nice place but truly need to work on their customer service.

True blue, red, white, and yellow — authentic Filipino cuisine.

They had a variety of my favorite Filipino dishes, but I played it safe and order chicken adobo for myself and my fiancée. I’ve never met anyone who’s ever disliked adobo, and I wasn’t wrong this time either; full of flavor and freshly made, we weren’t disappointed.

In addition to its superb location off of Pulaski Hwy/US-40, it’s situated in a nice part of Middle River and has an appealing exterior. Outdoor seating was aesthetically pleasing and a great choice for the weather today. There’s also plenty of indoor seating, away from their mini market.

The market has a great selection of imports — a lot of childhood favorites, and some brands that feel like a fever dream seeing again.

I suppose part of its appeal can be attributed to the nostalgia of homeland comfort foods and brands, and the convenience of being able to find it all in one place without having to hop on a 16-hour flight.

The staff here are very friendly and polite, true to iconic Filipino hospitality. The dining area and store were well-organized and clean. Would definitely recommend checking this place out, even if you’re from out of the area — it’s well worth the drive.

The food is good, no doubt. So keep a star for that.
I’ve eaten here three times, and mostly got skewers.
You can get 5 sticks of pork, or 5 sticks of chicken for a dollar more, according to the website.

I’m unsure if the website is wrong or if I am being lied to, but the second and third time, I was given half as much chicken as pork.

A promo order is 5 sticks. So where I would get 10 sticks of pork for a double promo, I was told a double promo of chicken at the same price was only 5 sticks. I got 2 double promos of chicken which should have been 20 sticks, not 10.

So I ended up twice paying about 50 bucks for only ten sticks of chicken, two separate times, and was told this was correct. The logic being that chicken, to them, is twice the price of pork.
After checking with other stores, and the website, it most certainly is not, an order of chicken should only be a dollar more and no less chicken it would seem. At other stores the switch from pork to chicken for a single stick is 30 cents, and an order of 4-5 sticks from pork to chicken is a dollar, so why is it double here?

It wouldn’t even make logistical sense. So if I got two double promos and that was 10. A double promo would be 5…and then a single promo would be what? 2 and 1/2? The more I think about it, the more it seems very sketchy, and mind you this has happened twice. I’m just not super confrontational.

So I’m not sure whose error this issue is, the website, or this particular store being more expensive for whatever reason, or I would hate to think I was lied to multiple times, but this doesn’t seem right at all.
I’m going to try other locations or options and see if I run into this same issue.

The food here was delicious!! I really enjoyed the chicken BBQ with garlic rice, as it was flavorful. The lumpia Shanghai was also very good! I definitely recommend coming here and trying the food. The cashier lady was okay… she doesn’t seem to have the proper experience and understanding of customer service.. maybe, be a bit warm to your paying customers.

I am writing to provide feedback on a recent experience at your restaurant 12/03/2026 @ 4.45 pm.

The food was very good. However, I had an unpleasant interaction with the cashier lady, who was very rude and unprofessional. She does not seem to have the necessary customer service education to interact appropriately with patrons.

I hope the owner takes a moment to address this situation. It is unfair for the restaurant to lose customers simply because an employee is unwilling to perform their job respectfully.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Delicious Filipino food served in generous portions. They offer a wide selection and everything I have had there I really enjoyed. It’s a small place that also serves as a food store so seating can be limited during peak times.

Not educated on food allergies. If you’re gluten free try the lechon kawali with garlic rice. I like to add a little of the liver sauce that it comes with to vinegar and mix them up. Then i’ll dip my pork in it or sprinkle it over the rice.

If you can get over the rude old lady at the front register you’ll be alright. She’s a damn grouch!

Such good food! We were in town for the night and stopped here for dinner and we’re definitely glad we did. This restaurant serves some great Filipino dishes. We had the sizzling pork belly and sizzling squid dishes with garlic rice and they were really tasty. The staff was super friendly, too. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area!
