First time for me since I live out of state, but my mother-in-law who is a local had been a couple of times. Lunchtime at the Ole Mill Tavern can be a little bit noisy with the bar side doing a brisk business but the food coming out of the kitchen more than made up for it. I’m a sucker for club sandwiches and great hamburgers, but I’m always on the lookout for a really great Cuban sandwich. So the Cuban missile with fries was my order while mother-in-law loves their Italian beef sandwich with fries. Great service paired up with hot fresh food makes me a really happy customer. Looking forward to my next trip to Mountain Home Arkansas so I can visit the Ole Mill Tavern for another item from their awesome menu. Give them a try and I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Pizza has a cracker-crisp, thin crust. Shrimp Poboy with fries was a huge meal for $14…. couldn’t finish it! Was delicious though! Their poboy loaf is a perfect French. Shrimp were delightful. The fries are now my new favourite! Crisp golden with a soft center & perfectly salted.
Will definitely recommend to others & hope to visit again soon.

We went on a Thursday afternoon. There were a bunch of peple at the bar and a few at tables. We had no wait for services. My husband had a shrimp poboy sandwich with was big and delicious he said. I had the boneless chicken basket which were lightly breaded and good. We had their southern pecan cobbler which our server recommended and it was DELICIOUS! We tried the local lager which we liked and it was happy hours so we had a few. Our server, Taylor was fantastic. Very friendly, attentive and her recommendations were very good. We will go back

This is an amazing restaurant! Their food is excellent with large portions! We had the Shrimp Poboy, fried ribs and fried Portabella mushrooms! Everything was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The service and atmosphere were great! We highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Mountain Home, Arkansas! We can’t wait to stop by again and bring our family.

We will definitely be back! I ordered the rueban sandwich and it was not only the biggest sandwich I’ve ever tried to eat but it was absolutely delicious!! Had to get a box for more than half of it. Food was good! Service was good. Went here once with my now ex, Matt, just us and then another time with his mother. No longer with my ex because he cheated on me at the encouragement of his mother. He also put his hands on me and she blamed me for it. I would like some closure for this gaping wound he stabbed into my chest. Please encourage them to do the right thing and just tell me the truth. The food was good, but the upcharge for extra sauce or condiments was a bit of a turn-off. A rueban, some wings, appetizer and water for $100 seemed steep to me.

Back in business they are, and the food is amazing! The owner is the chef and let me not only tell you food has flavor but look at those pictures! Bar is also open and ready to serve! Only one draw back is limited seating right now. Go in early or call to see if seating is available! Small menu but oysters are in the menu if that’s your thing! (I would call they say they run out quickly) please go and support local! You won’t be disappointed!
