Had a lovely evening at Pepper Trial tonight. The restaurant is lovely inside. The staff were welcoming, kind, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. All freshly cooked, hot, full of flavour and generous portion sizes. Delicious and lots of choice on the menu. Just overall a lovely Indian restaurant. I highly recommend to anyone – you will not be disappointed here!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The briyani was full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented and the onion bhaji was crispy a great start to the meal.

Love the decor and the restaurant has a welcoming vibe. The menu is extensive with many different types of curries to choose from and I wonder if this is where they’ve gone wrong. We were disappointed by the two curries that we tried (Rajasthani lamb curry and Goan prawn curry). Both lack the depth of flavour, taste really bland and could do with a little more seasoning. The starters we tried was nothing out of ordinary (Punjabi samosa and onion bhaji). I could barely see any cheese in the chilli cheese naan (certainly can’t taste any chilli). The mango lassi however was exceptional and unfortunately it was the only thing I had that I thoroughly enjoyed. I wonder if they should size the menu down and focus on what they do really well.

Ordered food for collection. Cannot fault it whatsoever. The chicken was perfectly cooked and succulent. The paneer too, perfectly soft. We were only in the restaurant briefly but the atmosphere seemed great. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing food. It’s nice to have a proper curry, done right. None of this fancy stuff. To start, we had the Tandoori chicken wings, which were tasty and tender; Lamb Chops, so good; Malai Tikka, creamy and decadent; onion bhaji, just as you want them. For our mains, we had Chicken Khusboo, which was fragrant and tender; Rajasthani Lamb, out of this world; Lamb Rogan Josh, one of the best I’ve had. The sides were all banging, and the Naan was perfect. Can’t wait to come back, stuff my face, and roll out of the door again. Big thanks to the staff, too, who really looked after us.

Great Indian Resturant . The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious . We’ve eaten at all the Indian Restaurants around Clifton and Redland . This is our favorite .
The dishes are full of flavour and just the right level of spice . The naan bread is the best around.

Very nice little restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Tried a range of starters and mains like the bahjis, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala which were all full of flavour and spice. Best part of the meal was definitely the service, a front of house full of enthusiasm and willingness to give us the best experience. Top place to go for a nice meal with friends or family.
