We are a 15 minute drive from central Ottawa/Gatineau. Les Fougères is a multi-awarded Restaurant has beautiful, expansive gardens and woodland path. The dining room has an open kitchen, bar and lots of windows. Sit inside or dine in all kinds of weather on the screened-in verandah overlooking the gardens. We offer a farm-to-table, seasonally driven menu.
Local, seasonal cooking is served in an airy space filled with blond woods, plus a bar & patio.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Celebrated Valentine’s here on the following Saturday. Everything was terrific for service. And, we had a minor mistake with a dessert sent to the table but the kitchen comp’d it.
Would love to come back in summer again.
Food was delicious, well presented, well explained by the servers, and just unique in composition. The oysters for Harrison were a nice touch to do something positive for a cause such as mental health.
Honestly, blown away by the overall experience. Not many places like this exist anymore.

This restaurant was amazing. Just a bit further away than the other Chelsea restaurants, this one is an interesting on to explore. The menu brings a nice vibe of mix Canadian mix French food. Everything I tried was delightful. I recommend!

We had a delicious meal here, sharing the bread, eggplant and beet appetizers. Three of us enjoyed the fish special and one of us enjoyed the duck. The food was really good! As was the service. My gin and cranberry cocktail was too sweet to be considered balanced, however the recommended wine bottle paired well with our food. Overall we all liked the place and would certainly return if in town again and looking for a nicer dinner option.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here. The Garden is so beautiful, the food was scrumptious, it was the best food that I had on my trip to Quebec. I highly recommend the duck and tar tar. The staff were engaging and told us about the food when we asked. I saw one of the chefs go to the garden to find ingredients for our dish! If you get a chance to visit, take it. You can even buy food from the shop connected to the restaurant.

Fantastic meal yet again! This restaurant always exceeds my expectations. The duck confit and scarpinocc pasta are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend trying the charcuterie board as well. The garden in the back is beautiful and there’s also a little shop attached to the side of the restaurant.

We had a lovely early dinner here, after a day at the Nordik Spa. The service was great. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. It has a great vibe. The food was well presented and fresh. We enjoyed it!

I like different cuisines and honestly Ottawa area has few gems but also a lot of mediocre and quite frankly bad food, but somehow still in business.
This is not one of those. For a starter, its in Quebec. My duck confit was so exquisite, i enjoyed every single bite, took precious time (about half an hour)to really enjoy it all. Sadly not allowed to drink alcohol, but even without any pairing it was great.
Then I contemplated to going back to all my previous reviews and knocking a star off on every one of them – it would be unfair, but it was that good.
To quote my partner, it looked like I was in love. And i was!
Only bad thing is that the moment had to pass… But this is definitely one of those places where i will come back.
Staffs were welcoming and friendly, and the whole place was vibrant.
