I want this restaurant with my husband. It was my first experience that having buffet style restaurant. So, I went crazy lol I had 2 plates mix dishes and 1 plate salad. I enjoyed the food and service. I think they have the best tasting beef pot roast in comparison to Newport News and Virginia Beach locations. The selection is amazing and they have tender sirloin steaks that are cooked right – medium rare for me.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant chain, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food quality was poor and appeared highly processed, as many items came from cans. While it is an all-you-can-eat setting and you are not rushed, the overall quality did not meet expectations.
I rated the ambiance a one-star due to an unpleasant and unprofessional incident during our visit. While guests were dining, a female with dreads staff member who takes calls for food pick up was speaking loudly to what appeared to be a manager or supervisor, using excessive profanity. This behavior was especially inappropriate given that many families and children were present. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected poorly on management and staff professionalism.
Overall, this experience did not leave a positive impression. Will not return.

Busy place, but we were seated right away. Good price for the amount of delicious food you get. Let me tell u, the pot roast is the best! Great service. Fresh and yummy food.

Eh, some food was cold. Good variety, but not the best quality. Dumplings taste just like Cracker Barrel. To be fair, we came right after the lunch rush. And they have a drive thru! Which I haven’t seen before. Desserts were pretty tasty. I left full! Large drinks are almost $4.00 each.

Honestly I don’t know why but like almost all the people who make reviews on this place are biased but would like to offer a more accurate review of this place so the food is so mid the the pork steaks have alot of fat and most of the food here is terrible quality. The dishes are horrible I have to go through like 40-60 plates to find a ok ish plate and just completely gave up on a salad bowl. Most of the food also mix contaminates together wich is ok unless your a Vegan or Vegetarian I come here some times with my grandparents my grandfather likes it. Now dot get me wrong the variety is good and I would suggest this is a good spot for a large amount of guest or friends. For a celebration party but it’s still not really good. The “atmosphere” is okay it’s not as good as like Panera Bread but but is still better than like CiCis pizza. now the personally the only thing that makes this a 2 is the service. The service is pretty good wich is surprising the waitress/waiters are so sweet like grandma sweet now they are kinda slow but I wont hold that against them considering how big it is. but overall it’s okay like I said the restaurant is 2 and and the thats me being me generous. but personally still I wouldn’t suggest coming unless with a big family member get together or just kinda poor no offense

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. First time trying this place, We paid $176 to have 2 spa pedicure and 1 Manicure done. Was told spa pedicure $53 with gel polish, wasn’t. On my pedicure the young lady barely scrubbed the bottom of feet at all, no where did I get half of what everyone else was getting. There where people already sitting in pedicure chairs when i got seated an was still sitting in them getting done here i was done had my pedicure and Manicure finished! Employees have there family members coming in an out not paying attention to there job, employees talking loud thru the place very unprofessional. Every one was polite I will give them that, but service was not worth what we paid. Very unsatisfied customers, sorry but won’t be back. my daughter had to go pay someone else to fix her toes.

Travellers, golden corral is a solid stop for eating on the road. It seems like the choices are endless. It is very busy so food is coming from the kitchen all the time. There are plenty of good healthy choices for people to make, including vegetarian plates. The fried chicken is excellent as are all the vegetables. They are well cooked and not too soggy. The dessert bar is enormous and there is a chocolate fountain for all your decadent needs. Service is friendly and with a smile. This is quick and easy and a good choice when traveling on the highway. Check it out. We recommend.
