I placed a call on order for pick up for a paradise roll – I requested to sub the siracha mayo for spicy mayo and to add eel sauce to the top – I received my food exactly how it’s is regularly made (photo attached) to which it was implied I was lying (I guess to get back my $30?!!?) and told he would check with his sushi chef since they weren’t busy and they would remember how it was made (like I was lying) and he came back and said they made it exactly how I asked – to which I said I’d send a photo – and I did . He called me back to tell me that was made the way I requested and when I told him it wasn’t that it was made the way it’s listed on the menu he literally said he could see the eel sauce on top of the cream cheese on my photo – and that was spicy mayo as it’s a completely different thickness and color (not sure what photo he was looking at) he then tells me to come back and they will add eel sauce (yet I thought he said it was on the photo ???) and I live 45 min away and had my daughter grab lunch on her way home . This isn’t about the cost – I order here typically 3 times a month or so – but will no longer visit this location or give money to someone who assumes I’m wanting something free – I wanted to make a complaint and instead was told I was lying …

This is going to be my new sushi spot. My fave sushi spot burned down over Covid and I’ve been without a sushi place ever since. And I’ve tried A LOT. The atmosphere was very chill and calm. I started with miso soup – Perfection. Then cucumber salad with Kanikama crab on top. The tanginess of the vinegar and the crunchiness of the cucumber was amazing. Then I had a pink lady roll. It’s a fried roll. It was so dang good.

In this image it’s the Chirashi Bowl. It was soooo good!! We also had the Miso soup which was some of the best we’ve had in town!! Highly recommend this place. The vibe doesn’t match the outside. It’s got such a chic vibe. Great date night. Service was friendly and prompt as well. Definitely going to become a regular!

I ordered online and picked up; I appreciate that the food was packaged well for travel and fair portion sizes. Friendly service, well light and spacious dining room. I tried the combination udon soup and was very pleased; flavorful broth, tender meat, perfectly steamed veggies, and al dente noodles. Received coupon for next visit that I’ll hopefully be trying some sushi with!

Amazed once again , never seems too disappoint . Service was amazing and greeted with a smile Janet was our server and she was on top of making sure we had what we wanted and needed. I recommend the Toro roll, lucky and Hamachi Roll. SAKE warm great Hugos is a family Owend business that needs to be known about they are doing great job and consistent for sure. The manager also was great and came to our table

1st time…..just searched for Chinese in the city because we wanted something different than the usual place we usually go to. This one stood out, read reviews and looked at the menu, we had to try it. They serve Vietnamese, chinese, and japanese entrees. The Roll selection is insane. My wife Ordered the Hugo Roll & I had the BipBimBap. They both were very flavorful and the presentation of the dish was something to take notice. I highly recommend this nice, atmospheric place. Dine in for the freshness. Service was excellent. No pics but we will return.

We had a fantastic experience at Hugo’s Sushi and Asian Cuisine while celebrating our son’s graduation from the Air Force! Josue provided excellent service and gave us great recommendations for our sushi sampler—it was delicious. The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly, and everything was fresh. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d love to visit again and definitely recommend it to others!

The place is nice & clean which I loved. The food was okay for me, we started with the California roll and fried calamari. The fried calamari was really crispy and tasted like a fish stick, the shrimp California roll was great the rice was perfect and the sesame seed flavor was great. I ordered the Bimbimbap which was good, the beef was sweet, the egg unfortunately was over cooked so it was not runny as I expected it to be when I cracked in to it. It lacked seasoning. My husband got the yakisoba combination plate he liked the shrimp. The noodles were a little soggy. My daughter ordered the only child’s plate they offered which was chicken nuggets and fries which was good. I wish they would have more of a variety for the kids. I don’t know that I would return. It was okay it was not bad but it was not good enough to make me want to come back and try again. I really wanted to love this place but it just didn’t happen. I may try just a variety of sushi next time if I do return.

The atmosphere of the restaurant overall is welcoming. Food is fresh and delicious. The staff at Hugo’s were incredibly friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this business for the excellent sushi and all types of Asia cuisines.
