Dockside Tavern, Food & Spirits combines a fun, casual neighborhood tavern with a riverside atmosphere. Full bar plus a menu with Classic American food and some modern twists. Our Friday Fish Fry is not just on Friday. Favorites like Bam Bam Shrimp Tacos, Walleye Fingers, and Ale battered Haddock are served daily. Dockside Tavern’s menu features excellent burgers, sandwiches, seafood, pizzas, and salads. The interior includes bar and dining room with woodwork modeled after Chris-Craft® wooden boats. In the summertime, it offers boat docking and a 6000 square foot expansive outdoor dining patio with a large bar and live music perfect for enjoying the sights and sounds of the scenic Fox River.

This restaurant has a boating atmosphere for all ages to enjoy. Come by boat and dock at the riverfront or by car. It’s open year round to experience the best of all seasons eating by the riverfront. Expect a busy boating atmosphere season, during high peak summer hours and summer holiday times.
Excellent food made to order. Come in hungry, leaving happy and your stomach full carrying leftovers home. For the adults, wet your whistle at the bar with available on the tap beers and a variety hard liquor choices to choose from. There are a variety of Pepsi products as an option too.
The staff are friendly, warm and inviting. Clean dining room and restrooms. The decorations of a boating atmosphere is lightly eye pleasing, not overwhelming; something to look at be curious.
This place is kid friendly, has ADA accessibility, and has outdoor seating. You can watch the boats pass by on the river sitting inside or outside when the weather is nice.
An expected cost of food per person is affordable.
Overall, I recommend this place. Giving this location a five star all around; food service and atmosphere.

We found this really great place with great atmosphere. Server was really professional and attentive. The food was well cooked and done right. We brought the dogs for some outdoor chilling and they loved it as they were laying down, behaving and getting treats. Definitely coming back.

We went in, sat at a table over looking the water. A waitress came out with waters and menus. We ordered drinks then ordered food. Wasn’t rushed nor were we waiting long for anything. We paid $42 for 2 meals and drinks. Absolutely no regrets ! Photo is of my shrimp tacos

Ate here on a Saturday just after lunch time, the empty parking lot made it look closed but was in fact a good pick. We got to sit in the fresh air on the patio and had the pleasure of Clarice being our server. We ordered mixed drinks, which were consistent and delicious, and canned beer. We tried the tavern burger, perch, and cheese curds – all excellent picks. The service was prompt and friendly, we were actually a little surprised with how quickly we got our entrees. Would recommend stopping in if you’re considering. Great atmosphere, service, and food !

First time visitors, & will definitely be back again. My 9yo daughter accidentally spilled her drink shortly after arriving, & our waitress totally put her at ease with her kindness & compassion. My catfish meal was literal heaven, in every single bite, & my husband loved his fish tacos. Kids were happy with their corn dogs & burger. Can’t wait to go back!

I went with Birthday Girls Club for the month monthly get together. We had very good service from our server she was very attentive. We all ordered our food and everybody got their food except for me I had ordered the Alfredo. I waited another half hour it was because they had to cook the noodles which I understood of course. All the girls were talking about the food that was very good. I finally got my Alfredo the chicken was a little dry and the afraid of was so salty I couldn’t even eat it. I had three of the girls tested also and they said it was too salty and to send it back because there’s no way I could eat it. I was offered to order something else which I thought they would give me that for the same price so I just ordered the spinach chicken wrap and fries. It was served very quickly to me and was very tasty although by now I wasn’t even hungry anymore of course so I only took a few bites and took the rest home. I was charged full price for the spinach wrap which was more costly than the Alfredo. I was so done with this by now so I just paid it. The atmosphere was very nice out on the patio there and it was very enjoyable. I will come back again and try something else because I heard all the food was pretty good from the other girls that were with me, and it’s really nice to be able to eat outside on the river watching the boats go by and having a good server.

Great place for a drink and some good food. We had a made to order pizza – thin cracker crust- so good! We also ordered pretzel bites w beer cheese, cheese curds – crust to die for! and Bam Bam Shrimp – Sooo good! Braylee was our server – great service very friendly & attentive.

The staff are very good at their jobs, adult beverages were wonderful, and the fish was very tasty. The cheese curds were top notch! Live entertainment was a nice treat too. Great place for date night! I’d get their early rather than later because it wad getting pretty busy when we left.

Sat for an hour before our order was taken, when i finally got my drink it was actually warm…they had no veggies to go with my entree, so i got told i can have a one time pass through the salad bar) salad bar was half full, u moved stuff using the tongs n flies came out… potatoe salad was warm, cucumbers are soggy… didnt get acknowledged until somebody else said something. Oh, then they brought plastic silverware because they had no actual silverware. I would suggest u need to sit outside to get service. sad part is, the inside was pretty much empty. Got my food, server puts it in front of me n said the cook didnt tell her until she grabbed it that they had no mashed potatoes… i felt bad for the server, but the cook clearly doesnt communicate. I had a bill that wasnt even worth what we had to pay for, over $100.00 waited over 2hrs… We left hungry…
