So happy I stumbled across this little gem one morning. I literally day dream about their raspberry white chocolate scones. ✨ their lattes are delicious too. Workers are super friendly and helpful as well. Definitely recommend if you haven’t tried them out.

I just have to say — it’s such a treat having Nell’s Bakery on the west side of Rapid. The triple vanilla cupcakes here are my family’s favorite (and we’ve tried them all!). I also love swinging by for a cappuccino — great espresso + always perfectly frothed microfoam.
But the real reason I’m leaving a review is that I impulse-bought an almond croissant on my last visit — and I am so happy I did because I found out Nell’s makes THE best almond croissants I’ve ever had anywhere! Perfectly buttery and flaky, crunchy sliced almonds, and the perfect amount of sweetness without being too sweet!
10/10 recommend Nell’s for all of your breakfast, afternoon, or after-dinner treats! You won’t be disappointed!

My daughter picked this shop for coffee. My first impressions: extremely clean and fresh inside. The young ladies working the counter were kind and helpful. I opted for the menu drink called Nell’s favorite and it was very pleasing. The barista frothed it to perfection. Everything looked amazing but I try to limit my sugar intake so I avoided the temptations, but it was tough. They also sell refrigerated meals for on the go, some fun gift ideas, and a variety of baked goods. The only thing missing was a table to sit and enjoy the goodies.

Discovered Nell’s while in RC visiting my childhood home, family and friends. I popped into the Jackson Blvd location early on a Monday morning to purchase items for an afternoon tea. I was able to purchase multiple items and meals to prepare for the entire week. The quality of food is beyond amazing! Highly recommend the lean veggie soup, roasted fall veggies, blackberry bacon blue cheese salad and salmon. Also, bought the cutting board. It’s the perfect size for charcuterie servings. It has “Black Hills” engraved on it so I was able to bring some hometown memories back with me.

Nell’s Gourmet To Go is the absolute best quality food you will find in Rapid City! Everything is so tasty, presented beautifully, homemade & fresh. It’s very convenient whether you order something ahead or shop their same day specials.
The place is so charming, cozy and has the most wonderful homey vibes.
The owner Marinell is so kind & wonderful to work with. She really puts in the extra effort with every single detail and it shows. Amazing communication and customer service, which seems harder to come by these days, so it is very appreciated 🙂
We’ve been both a customer for our family & parties, as well as a client, where Marinell prepares custom meals for our business – which we all LOVE!!!!!!!!! (as you can see in my photos, the food is absolutely beautiful and tastes amazing!)
They also catered a custom taco bar for us that was a huge hit amongst our staff and clients for our holiday party. They handled the setup and provided everything for us, down to the plates, silverware & napkins. They think of everything and make sure that the pressure is taken off of you when it comes to the food! And it all tastes incredible!
I couldn’t say enough good things about Nell’s Gourmet To Go. They have been a Godsend to us!! I recommend them 10/10!

I just had my first pick up from Nells Gourmet today. I was able to get my meals with a gift card I won from them for $50.00. With that $50 I was able to purchase three meals, cupcakes and $5.00 remained. Their meal was packaged nicely in a basket. Their costumer service was excellent and their meal was delicious and healthy. I have been wanting to stop by since that first homemade smell blessed my nose on earth day 2021. They didn’t disappoint, and I will definitely be stopping by again. Thank you Nells Gourmet To Go.

If you’re looking for incredible food and amazing people this is the place for you. We personally use them weekly for lunch/dinner. They make eating healthy in our town much easier. We have also used them to cater for our women’s event and they blew it out of the park. Every single person loved it! They are professional, kind, and incredible cooks.

Finally checked this place out for a quick take home meal and was very disappointed with the Chicken Korma dinner. Tasted it while reheating and was surprised it was so bland, with minimal chicken. I had to doctor it up myself which for the $ I should not have to do. Maybe there pastries are worth it but my experience with the meal…not so much.

We ordered 2 buttercream frosting, white cakes with triple berry filling. The cakes were a big hit with our attendees. One woman, who I consider a cake aficionado, declared it delicious and one of the best she had tasted at an event! Want something special? Try Nell’s. Worth every calorie!
