Order leaked and spilled all over which resulted in the paper bag ripping. I asked the worker if there were silverware and napkins in the bag as it was sealed and she assured me there were. I found none in the bag. Yaki udon noodles were super plain. Sushi was decent. Hibachi steak and chicken wasn’t that great but did have a decent portion size. Probably wont return as this is the second poor experience here.

Went for a friends birthday and loved the food and drinks! Especially liked the strawberry cocktail, super refreshing. Very clean and the service was great! We ordered like 10 rolls at a time and they brought it out on a huge boat which was very funny to us, sort of a novelty but the sushi can stand on its own as well. Edamame was perfect and they gave us a huge bowl! Would definitely recommend and we will absolutely be going back.

Overall this is one of my new top favorite sushi places next to Oshio. The only thing I didn’t care for was the prices, a little expensive, BUT the food was great. I think the raw fish was really good quality ! We had a great server, Emma she was really patient with us, considering it was our first time here. I would definitely come back! I’ve noticed the more pricier places have the best sushi, I guess it’s true you get what you pay for. Definitely would recommend coming here, and make sure you make a reservation if you can. We walked in and the people who greeted us seemed a little disappointed we were walking in

Food was average for being prime downtown… service was pretty bad honestly. Waitress forgetfull and lack of care. They forgot my tea and boiled it so hot it burnt the s out of my mouth. Yakisoba acked basic flavor. Meh.

Always the best quality sushi in Columbus! Fresh no matter what day of the week we are there. Unique specialty rolls and excellent Japanese whiskey. So glad they reopened in 2025!

Best sushi restaurant I’ve been to in Columbus so far. The vibes and most importantly the food are on point. Apps included shumai and the soft shell crab. Let me tell you…. The soft shell crab was FIRE. Crispy, full of flavor, and paired with a nice sauce. If you like tempura you will love this. Definitely an app for two. Sushi rolls included the 1126, blue fin tuna, monster, and spider. Monster was my personal fave – no soy sauce needed. Also check out that presentation tho – very on point. Lastly I feel this is a nice date spot. 5/5 will be coming back.

Usually dinner takes about an hour but this place took 2. We got sushi and hibachi. Should have just gotten sushi since that was the best part. The shrimp appetizer tasted and looked like they were bought from the freezer section at the store then deep fried them. I wasn’t a fan of the drinks either. When I order a martini I expect to receive a martini, not a sugar bomb in a tiki cup

Omg fresh and flavor-ful! What a nice hidden gem with moderate pricing and generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied. The ambiance is peaceful and inviting, great for couples with booth seating available. I didn’t like that the sodas are canned versus fountain which increases the expense and lessens the value. The food and service were otherwise a hit and sushi lovers should definitely try this place on for size. It’s downtown so prepare for street parking and a short walk – both well worth it for the pleasantries received on arrival.

Comfortable average paced restaurant. The appetizers and sushi were certainly among the best and reasonably priced for Columbus. Most of the staff seemed kind enough, our particular server was a little snarky and snappy. Would happily go back and give it a second try.

Very disappointed, which I am very sad about.
I have been looking forward to trying 1126 for so long and had heard such good things. I ordered the chicken hibachi which started off with miso soup. The miso soup was cold when it came out. Then the chicken hibachi came out and I enjoyed it at first, until I found an eyelash in my food. I know for some people they are able to continue eating their food but this just really grossed me out. I told the waitress very quietly and politely and she just responded with oh I am sorry. I didnt hear anything from her about it after which I was disappointed about because most restaurants would let you know they have told the staff or cooks or are remaking your food. Finally, towards the end of dinner, flies began flying all around our table. I counted about 5 or 6 flying around my seat.
Overall, I was very let down by the experience especially after being so excited to try for the first time.
