The food was top class. It’s the perfect balance of quality food, cooked perfectly and good value.
It was our favourite meal of our 5 day trip to Paris.
We got seated at the bar due to a mishap with our reservation but it ended up being an amazing experience to see the food being prepared in front of you. Highly recommend!
The service is amazing, the staff check on u very often and is extremely attentive. I received several suggestions of wine pairing with every plate i ordered (when asked, so don’t hesitate to !) The decor is cozy yet Instagramable and aesthetic, a part with old posters, one with glasses light up and a plant backdrop one. I have brought many friends that were visiting here and they have all been pleased. This is a truly honest review, everyone in the corner should come try !
Staff is very young and a bit inexperienced, but they are so caring that you naturally forgive their mistakes.
Food is okay, could be better to be honest but if you’re in for a cool night with friends that’s the place to be!
Not sure if it’s always like this but we got a 2010s playlist all dinner long which wasn’t bad per se but slightly unfit for such a place.
We had aperetif suze (bitter) and kir (sweet) very nice.
We have ordered le cassoulet was too salty and they were very nice and canceled it for us.
The duck breast and tartar were exceptional!
The profiteroles were FINGERLICIOUS! Totally recommend!
The escargots were average and lacked the rich, garlicky depth expected. The onion soup arrived barely warm and tasted watery, though it was professionally removed from the bill after we raised the issue. The steak tartare was pleasant but unremarkable. The steak, however, was unevenly cooked and quite chewy, which was disappointing. We chose not to return it, as we had already raised an issue with the soup and didn’t want to cause further fuss during a busy service.
Overall, given the prices and strong reviews, the experience felt underwhelming. With better consistency in the kitchen and more support during busy periods, it could be much stronger.
Plates are good, service is great and wine list is interesting.
