It’s a go to when I eat what I ain’t supposed to. Food always slaps. Location is what it is. On Old Nat take from that what you will. It’s easy to get into hard to get out of just like trouble. You don’t go for the vibes or the atmosphere. You order get your food and get out. Amazing every time. You’re not there to make friends.

One of the better locations minus the new construction making it hard to get there. The cashier is always friendly and in good spirits. My only problem is, ordering online won’t make your food ready by pickup time since you don’t actually pay until you get there (which is when they start to cook your order). I get that it’s to save money and not waste food, but let people pay online so they can pick their food up at the time they chose. Other than that, the food is always good and hot, no complaints there.

I went in and ordered the 2pc perch snack that came with fries and 3 hush puppies.My fish wasn’t done at all it was slimy and undone.I had to go back and ask for a refund.They weren’t busy and I waited over 10 minutes to receive my food yet it wasn’t done.I will not be patronizing this establishment ever again.

This location is my go to. I always get the family size 12pc whiting/catfish. But I’ll pass on the frozen lemonade . Way too sweet for me. Fish and chicken is always fresh and crispy. I love the seasoning they put on them. Make sure to get plenty hot sauce. You should definitely call ahead to place your order as it gets busy so wait time increases.

Ordered pickup through DD. Order was ready earlier than anticipated. Despite this and a 15 minute drive home it was still HOT. Chicken was crispy, fresh and delicious. Fries could’ve been a little crisper but they were still fine. Best wings I’ve had since moving to Atlanta! Very clean restaurant also.

Food was good. I would go again and try something else next time I’m in Atlanta. They had different combos and different ways you can add to your meal which they fully explain at the register. They even had a security guard at the door.

Was visiting ATL on the July holiday weekend and I was
researching spots prior to my arrival and I saw JJ pop
up a few times. So I ordered the wing and fries platter
with seasoning (which I wasn’t sure wat it meant)
and I ordered a Double clam platter with fries.
The website doesn’t explain that the seasoning is a DRY
powder and they need to explain what flavor is this
so called ” Famous” seasoning. I found it to be a
lite salt and vinegar taste. IDK? Others may find it to be
a taste of ??? All I know is it was slightly tangy.
The FULL wings were tremendously small (see pic)
and I ordered a DOUBLE clam and now I wonder if
there are any clams on a single platter.
Portions here a very small!!! They hype the plate with
bread underneath and give you an abundant amount
of fries. But don’t worry my vision ain’t blurry!!!!
Frozen seafood. KFC type wings very small and
to think a person would actually rob a young bird from
the mother’s breast just to make a buck. SMH.

My food was hot and fresh as always. Great customer service and interaction with customers my granddaughter really enjoyed her conversation and getting all her questions answered by the young man who took our order and the young lady working was so sweet as well. Thanks for a great experience

I came to ATL on a work trip and while I knew I was driving close to West Point which is where Newt’s Chicken is located, I decided to stop here instead. The service was great, there’s not much of an atmosphere which isn’t a problem and the food was piping hot. I paid $20 for a fish and shrimp meal, crab bites and a can of soda. That seemed fair.
The food tasked great but the batter on my fish filet did not stay on the meat which could be the only thing bad I could say. I’d recommend this place to anyone for fresh food!
