i usually dont write reviews but after seeing the negative ones i decided i need to. My wife and i go here all the time and have never had a bad experience. The food has always been good and the service has been great as well. Whether its take out or dine in the food has always been consistent. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Rude server. Like she didn’t want to be there. Menudo had too much chili seasoning and not enough hominy. Guacamole had too many onions. And my migas lacked eggs. So yeah that’s why I rated low.

Had a late lunch. The dining area has several tables and offers a range of places to sit. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Service was prompt and courteous. The menu offers a range of choices, and portions were large and satisfying. I opted for carnitas with whole beans instead of refried beans and my wife had spinach enchiladas with refried beans and rice.
The carnitas were great and the whole ( barracho) beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. Cooked with lots of onions, red bell pepper, poblano peppers and spices, the beans were good enough to eat as the entree for a meal. My wife’s spinach enchiladas were filled with flavorful spinach and the white sauce was very good.
Initial chips and salsa was good, with the salsa being low to medium heat with an interesting subdued flavor.

Where to start on this. The food has no actual flavor. The refried beans are straight out of a can. The charro beans are the most under flavored beans I have ever had… The waiter brought us the wrong food. The soap in the bathroom is so watered down it might not even clean your hands. The chips are the bottom of the bag and so small its not even worth it. The waitress was “just there” not sure how to explain it but she doesnt care at all. Now the hostess was happy and extremely nice.

This is one of the worst, under flavored Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. But they got 2 starts for the michelada.. that was the best thing we got and it was actually good.

Hands down (as of my 1st and only visit so far, will update when i go again on consistency of the food and service) the BEST Mexican food in GBT. 1st things 1st the salsa, that is always the best way to tell a Mexican food place – PERFECTO. SOOO YUMM. It was not super spicy (wish it was, but you know other white people gotta eat there too). I wanted to sample a few different, basic items and I was not in any way disappointed. I ordered the guac (normal ol guac), a combo plate with the taco and a cheese enchilada, and quesabirria. ALL were equally delicious. Rice and beans were both really good, just slightly salty, can happen to the best. I took my order to go, so I am not sure about the service but the food 10000 times better than Lost Pepes and El Ranch-no. I truly hope this place stays tasty and is consistent in quality and taste. Best of luck to this place. I was so hungry I forgot to take pics before I started eating.*****I have now been back numerous times and I am very please to say that they are consistent in the quality of their food and service. Have yet to try something I didn’t like. Breakfast was very delicious also.

This place is excellent! We had a little bit of everything including rice chicken, sour cream enchiladas, fajitas, crispy tacos, caldo, birria tacos, and more and it was all so delicious! We’ve know the owner, Rocio a long time and we’re excited to see her own restaurant come to life! They are still working on their liquor license so it’s BYOB for now but I bet their margaritas will be the cherry on top! Highly recommend!

We picked up a to-go order and got home and it wasn’t correct. I called to tell them and have them fix the correct order and instead of apologizing, the girl was rude and hung up on me. I called back to make sure she had the order and she continued to be rude. When I walked in, there were three waitresses working and they all looked at me and ignored me, talking to each other in Spanish and laughing. Two went over to a table and started eating and the third finally came over and asked if she could help me. No one ever apologized for the us receiving the wrong order or the inconvenience of having to go back. What has happened to good customer service?

We thought we’d try this place & once was too many times unfortunately. I came here & read some reviews before choosing it, reviews were mixed but leaned toward people liking it. So, First off I have to say the service was great, Carter was our waiter & he was perfect, absolutely the best thing we found there!! The margaritas were great but everything went downhill from there so unless you’re just going for a buzz I’d skip this place!
I initially judge by the chips & salsa…the chips were very stale and omg the salsa came in the tiniest containers ever so unless we broke the chips up there was no way to dip into the sauce so right off they were starting off on the negative side, and to top that off the salsa itself was ok but not remarkable; the “queso” was obviously poured from a can of Rico’s cheese with zero added (make some effort!! take 1 minute and add some onion, peppers & chili powder at the very least), the guacamole was literally smashed Avacado on a plate (again, some effort please or call it what it is…avacado), I ordered a basic cheese enchilada plate because that’s hard to mess up, but a good enchilada contains real cheese not velvetta and that’s what I got sadly, my friend ordered sour cream/chicken enchiladas and she said frozen from the store are better. There was nothing at all inviting about the interior or exterior of the building & the only colorful thing there was the menu. We truly love some good Mexican food, but this was definitely NOT it!

We ate here on a Monday because there was nowhere else to eat. The server’s helper was great. Other than him, service was poor, and the food was so salty we couldn’t eat it. Margaritas are good, not great.
