Nice surprise. I am a huge BBQ fan and didn‘t have high expectations when walking in but Mountain Sandwich (beef brisket) and potato salad was really good. Portion size indeed a bit on the smaller side. Fast and friendly service. Atmosphere a bit sterile. Will definitively come back next time when at Seattle airport.

I stopped in on a long layover. Overall, the food quality was decent and the service was good. I will definitely stop by again of I’m in town, but it’s far from my favorite BBQ. It’s a good option if you have a decent layover. I had the salad and nachos, which both had decent portions and flavor.

Came here while waiting for my flight on a busy Friday morning. Food was okay and it took about 10 minutes for it to come out. Would only cone here again if I can get a free meal using my Priority Pass ($28 USD credit).

I ordered the bacon, egg, cheddar sandwich and it was okay. Can’t complain considering that it’s a food place in the airport. The brioche buns were pretty good though. Comes with a side of 4 orange slices that were fresh.
Atmosphere
Not quite a grab and go spot since its a sit down place, but they have to-go option too. A busy location right by one of the TSA checkpoints. Moderate noise level.

Airport prices on food and drinks (about 12 for the sandwich, 5 for my smart water). I only came here since I can use $28 in credit using my Priority Pass.

Good service overall. Got seated and checked in pretty quick.

Delicious!
Server recommended the pulled pork nachos. They were delicious. It can server two people. A little too sweet for my liking but great flavours and textures. Drinks seemed a little expensive.

Came here because of its relationship with Priority Pass (you get a $28 USD credit towards your bill) and was pleasantly surprised by the food which was pretty good considering it’s airport food. I had the brisket sandwich which comes with a side, I chose the potato salad, and both were good. Also threw in an overpriced bottle of Coke ($6) and everything was covered by the Priority Pass credit. Add a separate tip with cash/credit card. This is located right by the C gates entrance.

Priority Pass eligible restaurant. It’s located right past the sign that indicates the path to B gates although Priority Pass info says it’s near Gate C1.
Went there on a Wednesday at 6:30pm or so and there’s almost no waiting. We ordered nacho and salad. Both were quite good without adding in the sauces we asked to be put on the side. We preferred not having overly strong sauces in the foods.

As a frequent traveler, Trail Head BBQ Bar is my go-to place to grab a quick bite at SeaTac airport. Their foods are ok, nothing special, but the location is very ideal as it is located right next to the main TSA security checkpoint in the center of the airport.
Because of the location, there are always a full of customers dining in but wait times are usually pretty quick and services are relatively fast.
During the pandemic, they removed a few tables to give a bit more spacing between the tables. During my recent visit in November of 2022, I noticed that they continue to sanitize the tables every time the customers dine in and leave. Thanks to Trail Head BBQ Bar!
They have a simple menu. I think I have tried almost everything on the menu, and my favorite is BBQ St. Louis Style Ribs. It comes with a half rack of ribs and a choice of two sidekicks for $21.95. They have typical side kicks you can find from anywhere like potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, mac n’ cheese, and potato chips.
Now to the food – all the ribs, potato salad, and mac n’ cheese weren’t anything special, and the portion was a bit smaller.
I know their foods are just ok and don’t meet or exceed my expectations, however, because of the limited food options available at the airport, I will probably visit again to grab a bite before the long flight.
P.S. They don’t serve a glass of tap water for free. They only serve bottled water for $3.85.

The items on the menu looked great but was actually rather disappointing.
Salad was good, though the greens were no longer at their best. The ribs were arid dry and very salty.
Restaurant seem short staffed. Server was efficient but moving non-stop.

Stopped by for some drinks and food before our flight. Our server was very sweet, we got seated and got our orders fairly quick. The food was decent and the drinks were good too! Came here as it’s one of the participating restaurants with Priority Pass.
