Must-try dishes:
⭐️Sesame Street Fries + Mahna Mahna – like a Korean bibimbap, but in fries form. I loved the house-made gochujang ketchup — so flavorful!
⭐️Mongolian Beef Pizza – a great twist if you want a break from the usual tomato-and-mozzarella combo.
I also had Coconut Curry Noodles – tasty, though I wish the coconut flavor was stronger. The noodles seemed like rice noodles, which could make it gluten-free, but the menu didn’t list it as GF, so I wasn’t sure.
I also appreciated that they offer plenty of vegetarian dishes and protein options. The restaurant does get busy, so I recommend making a reservation before you go. The inside is a little dark, but the outdoor patio seating was perfect, especially with nice weather.
Overall, a fun spot with creative food that’s worth trying!
TLDR-10/10 for food, service, vibes – no notes
Food: Mid. For the price it’s very mid. 5 dumplings for $13 isn’t terrible but when they’re underwhelming. Chewy beef in the Mongolian fried rice and the dumplings left much to be desired at $27. Everything felt under seasoned. We were very disappointed.
Was charged $8 for a splash of Baileys in the cocktail, – as a bartender for 8 years this is egregious. (After I brought this up later discounted this to $3) lol, I was not charged for the orange peel thought.
Wait time – none sat at the bar
Parking is a challenge but that’s par for the course out here.
Atmosphere, not bad they use the space wisely and keep it reasonably clean. Lighting is great, music isn’t my favorite but didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the meal.
Service: I almost gave this place a 1 or 2 but Malik SAVED this review, not only was he funny he went out of his way to find me when I left my card and gave excellent recommendations. I really appreciate this guy and wish him the best.
Parked in the neighborhood on the street close by. Nice neighborhood vibe spot. Thought it would look more Asian but it’s American vibe W/inside & outside seating. Servers are super cool. Carey was oh so perfect. Good drinks, I like the hibiscus soda.
Brussels-10/10. Perfect crisp and seasoning
Fried Mushrooms- 9/10 very tasty with lemon pepper wet. The fried crispy outside breading can be a lil more than the mushroom but we ate it all-so good.
Wings-great flavor-C Town Spicy. 8.8/10. A lil dry like they were rewarmed. Small wings. Could be a couple dollars less.
Rou Jia Mo-Burger 10/10 love the house made bread. Duck fat puts wow flavor in that fresh grilled burger. Perfect toppings. Only $12. Add that to the menu.
Mongolian Fried Rice or chicken fried rice-10/10 Tender beef, Love the fresh peas and corn in the rice. Has pineapples in it. Perfect flavor and taste. Hot and fresh. I’d order again. Chicken option didn’t have pineapples and it was amazing also.
Chocolate Biscoff Cake- Wow. Best chocolate cake I ever tasted. I’m not a chocolate cake fan, but I tried it because of the Biscoff. The icing and the cake were utterly amazing. I ate half of it there even though I was planning on taking it all home. I typically like thinner layers of cake and thinner layers of icing But the softness of this arrangement allow for you to eat as much cake or as much icing as you needed to at a time and I’m sure it’s easier for them to do two layers. It’s perfect, don’t change it.
Fries with pork and house ketchup. Good idea and tasty, but the ketchup has too much twang in my opinion.
Cucumber salad-light and refreshing but too light/plain tasting-just tasted like cucumbers in oil. although it was a good break from the seasoning I had on the other dishes.
Yu Choi was ok, not as flavorful
Pizza’s delicious. They allow you to alter and make whatever you can think of they have-awesome. Not many heavy entrees but a lot of really good fun food. I was overall happy and would recommend.
