Tandoori Bistro just had its soft opening in Bear Lake—and wow, what a way to make an entrance! I had the chance to be there on opening day, and I have to say, it was so exciting to see this kind of culinary variety come to our small town. Tandoori Bistro is the real deal.
The food? Absolutely delicious. I was so excited, I tried everything. Each curry and sauce brought bold, authentic flavors, and the stir fry actually surprised me with how tasty and well-seasoned it was. But the undisputed star of the show has to be their Raspberry Lassi. It’s a fun twist on a classic Indian drink, and let’s just say the local raspberry shake competition officially has some serious competition!
The interior remodel deserves a huge shoutout too. The space is beautifully done—modern, clean, and inviting, yet it instantly transports you into another culture. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience. The dining area has great seating and a warm, welcoming vibe that’s perfect for families or casual dining with friends.
I’m incredibly proud of Mohit and his family with what they’ve created here. Tandoori Bistro brings authentic Indian flavors and a vibrant energy to Bear Lake that’s been missing. Full 5 stars from me, no hesitation. If you’re anywhere near the area—go. Support this incredible local spot. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit!

I was very impressed with the staff, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the quick service. Not to mention the delicious food! There’s also great variety on the menu. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Bear Lake area. Especially fun for those spending the day at North Beach.

Great place to get some Indian food right by North shore Bear Lake.
The place is clean, well let, easy to get to, small parking lot but that can be overlooked because you probably don’t want to go there when it’s super busy.
With that said, there is a clean bathroom in the back of the shopping center.

Delicious savory Indian food! We came right from the lake, walked in with our swimming suits on, and we were served quick and met with great customer service. The coconut curry and chicken kurma were our favorites. The naan bread was fresh and warm. The flavors were perfect, the whole family enjoyed their entrees.
And…… we got our food about 48 minutes faster than we would have from the burger place next door. That itself is a win.

Pretty subpar as far as the food goes. The service was fast once the order was in, but waited awhile for anyone to take our order “we were only ones in line” kinda bland food, spent 46$ for two people for a two item bowl each. Got the butter chicken, and some other tomato based curry chicken. They were ok, personally wouldn’t come back. I’m sure they have other dishes that are good, but what we got just wasn’t,
