We came in for a pre-Valentine’s dinner, and once again this place delivered a fantastic experience. The shrimp were plump, juicy, and full of flavor. The fried calamari was a pleasant surprise—perfectly crispy and included tender squid that was absolutely outstanding. The bacon-wrapped shrimp were cooked spot-on, though not quite as filling as we expected.
My wife ordered the salmon topped with scallops, and wow — that dish completely stole the show. Perfectly cooked, rich, and elegant… easily the star of the night.
For dessert, she chose the key lime pie, which had a bright tartness and just the right level of sweetness — exactly what she wanted. I went with the banana Foster cheesecake. As a cheesecake lover, I can say it was huge and well made, but a bit too sweet for my taste (glad it’s a seasonal item).
Service was excellent — fast, attentive, and friendly, just like every visit we’ve had here. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to coming back.
Total came to about $220 after tax and tip — proof that Valentine’s celebrations aren’t exactly cheap… but this one was definitely worth it.

I used to live around the corner from it years ago and frequent here at lease 3 times a month. Now i live too far to come as much, but when i have time and in the area im definitely stopping in. My last visit was great, I ordered…. rainbow trout, glazed Gator bites, seafood dip, and a Old fashion with Woodford Reserve. My dip and bites wasn’t as hot(i typically don’t send food back) but I told Brady my food wasn’t hot, he swiftly corrected that for me. The food , atmosphere and service was GREAT. I’ll for sure return and im always recommending them.

The food here is always fantastic. If you cannot find something you like on the menu, the chef’s are very accommodating at tweeting a meal to you. While I live 2 hours away from this restaurant, when in Dallas area it is a treat to dine here, but I. The past 6 months we have been dining elsewhere in town now that we return, we find the menu prices have skyrocketed. A cup of seafood gumbo with andouille sausage is now $13.95. I much enjoy their sea bass but had to shy away as it is now $55.95.
Today my wife and I dined for lunch. I had a cup of seafood gumbo with andouille sausage for an app. Wife had a meal off of the lunch menu and I had grilled salmon with shrimp, scallops, and something else for a topping with sautéed spinach. We shared a cream brûlée. We drank tea, no alcoholic beverages. We did bring home two desserts for evening TV. Bill with 18% tip $165

We had a great experience at Pappadeaux’s! Our server, Cannon, was wonderful, attentive, polite, and professional. When my initial entrée came out too salty, he and the manager went out of their way to make it right. They quickly replaced the meal, and the second entrée was delicious. Everyone we interacted with was patient, understanding, and the restaurant was very clean. Excellent service all around!

So, we got off to a rocky start. We were seated near the restroom as requested but we waited awhile for service. The manager did come to apologize without being prompted. So that was appreciated. My guests and I had the spinach dip which was very tasty. I had the seafood platter which was good except that I asked for extra shrimp instead of oysters which I did not receive. I had to get the attention of the manager to ask what’s the normal portion of shrimp and what is deemed extra, he advised me and I did receive the extra momentarily. My only qualm is had I not asked, I would not have received what I was paying $41.00 for. I attached pictures. My waiter’s name was Cannon he was nice and attentive.

Today was my first experience at Pappadeaux. We traveled about two hours away from our home for an important appointment. My husband recommended we stop in for a good lunch. My husband had sweet tea (his favorite) and their fried crawlfish plate. I had their blood orange mule cocktail and blackened rainbow fish with butternut squash. My blood orange mule was great! We both agreed that both plates were very good! The service was great, friendly, and made you feel like home! We’ll have to try dessert next time!

Celebrated my mommie’s 76th birthday here- her FAVORITE restaurant! From the manager, the hostess check-in, their accommomdating nature (despite my screw-up), made for a great night to celebrate life, family, and friends. My mommie’s birthday celebration was a hit!! She was on heavenly plains all the evening. Madison and Natalie our waitresses…very attentive and PATIENT! Thank you, Pappadeaux on Dallas Parkway!!
