Decent buffet breakfast with a side variety to choose from. The staff was friendly and quick with refills. Not a bad deal and worth a visit. The gift shop attached is massive as well as the farmers market. I enjoyed watching the toy train make is way throughout the buffet area, different and fun.

My friend and I originally planned to eat at Shady Maple Buffet, only to realize it’s closed on Sundays. Instead of turning around and driving the hour back home disappointed, we decided to pivot—and I’m genuinely glad we did.
From the moment we walked in, the energy was on point. The atmosphere felt welcoming, relaxed, and exactly what we needed. Our waitress, Karen, was exceptional—attentive, warm, and effortlessly professional. She made us feel like valued guests, not just another table.
Even though our food took about an hour to arrive, it honestly didn’t matter. The experience, the conversation, and the overall vibe carried the night. And when the food finally came? Worth the wait. Absolutely perfect.
Sometimes the best experiences come from unplanned detours. This was one of them.

The server was great, but the portabella mushrooms were canned, cold soggy and gross. The avocado was previously frozen, soggy and flavorless. The server was good. The breakfast omelet I ordered was a) not the one I got b) lukewarm with the other surprises listed above. Side note- I came for the breakfast buffet, which is ONLY on Sat & Sun. The server- Sharee ? Was AMAZING

Adorable train that goes around! Great stop right off the main highway, food was very good, I had the soup and salad bar, then coffee and ice cream were fantastic! Beautiful farm area and the store next door is full of beautifully handmade crafts, and a fresh farm grocery store! Definitely worth stopping by!

This review based on items ordered on the menu. A popular buffet is available but I did not partake. The slow cooked pork and sauerkraut was excellent. The pepper slaw is a favorite item of mine and it was excellent also. Large menu with seafood, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches, burgers, dinner entrees etc. Wonderful friendly quick service.

We came for my birthday on 3/6 and I ordered the Bacon Ranch Quesadilla. When the waitress brought it.out as she said a corner of it fell. We can either give you money off or we can make you a new one. I said I would like a new one. When I went to complain last night the cashier said she didn’t want me.waiting for a new one. Which tells me she knew what is she did was wrong. I called and talked to the manager today. She said as long as you got a new one that it was fine. I said it wasn’t because why was I offer the one that the corner fell off with money off.

Just had to come try this authentic Pennsylvania Dutch buffet!

There’s kind, courteous, cheery attentive staff & quiet contemporary background music playing.. tasteful – not loud or obnoxious.

The buffet was hot and fresh, and the quality was 1st rate. Try the real butter mashed potatoes, and they also had a beautiful Swai fish that is unbelievable! Meatloaf is always my fave, but this meatloaf is just so delicious!

Shoo-fly pie is cold and just a perfect way to make my meal incredibly memorable.

I am very happy to have had the opportunity to visit and intend to come regularly!

We visited on a Monday evening around 6pm. They were not busy but the food came out slowly. The kids enjoyed the playground outside while we waited for the food to come. Prices were generally reasonable. If you use a credit card, there will be a 3% charge added to the bill. Our waitress was nice but not as attentive as some items were missing. We were a large party of 8 and the missing items came quickly after we asked for them. The mashed potatoes are real but they lacked salt and butter. I got the chicken corn pie and it was good but also needed salt. A member of my party said the cheese steak wasn’t great. The ham balls were good. I say try the Farm Favorites menu items as those seem to be the specialties. The ice cream was delicious and was included in the kids meal.

Went with a bus tour. They managed to handle our 50 person group without prior notification and got everyone feed, and out within the time allotted. At first glance the buffet looks like it will disappoint, but it is very tasty and full of surprises. The potatoe salad was Amish potatoe salad. A few types of pasta salads, great selection of fresh veggies and protein for your salads, plus hot entrees. The ham balls and shrimp were big hits with the group as was the deserts…even a selection of sugar free for those who needed.
