I accidentally found a bakery and bought some bread. Some of the bread was delicious, but some of the bread was a bit dry. But I might buy it again. I want to try all of them and I should find the one I like best. There are also some drinks for sale inside, but they are paid separately. Maybe they are just partners sharing some expenses. I think this is a good idea.

Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! This area has so many hidden gems! From the outside the places does not look appealing, but when you walk in, the place is spacious and clean. So many choices for baked goods at reasonable prices. They had a special of buyer 8 and get 1 free. The pineapple with dried pork pastry was lovely! Highly recommend trying it. The taro pastry was okay, but not as flavorful as anticipated.

I expected this cake to be above $42. Surprisingly, it was only $30 and fed well over 9 people. The customer service was great. The provided plates, birthday sign, candlutensils. And most importantly, cake knife. This all came in clutch, since it was a work birthday and didn’t have the proper utinsils. The cake itself was freshly made with fresh fruit and creamy light frosting. Momo’s is where it is at!

My friend who lives nearby introduced me to this Taiwanese-style Bakery. They sell a variety of baked items and pastries. All so delicious! Love the Taro Buns, Red Beans, and Pineapple bread.
Parking is shared with other businesses in the strip mall.

Momo Bakery is a great Taiwanese bakery in the heart of Monterey Park and Alhambra. Their handmade desserts are light and sweet and are great for any occasion.
My family likes their soufflé pastries, especially their pineapple buns with custard filling. In addition, they also have a delicious selection of freshly-made sandwiches, great for breakfast and getting you through the day. Finally, there are also some frozen foods that you can purchase when you are too lazy to cook.

If you love freshly made Taiwanese bread, cakes, and pastries, this bakery in the San Gabriel Valley is a must-visit. Their cakes are fluffy and moist, with frosting that’s smooth and never overly sweet—unlike many American or Korean cakes, which can be too sugary. The balance is perfect every time, and when fruit toppings are used, you can tell they carefully select the best fruits for an extra-special touch.
Their Taiwanese breads and pastries are equally impressive—fluffy, soft, and delicious without being overly salty or heavy. The sandwiches are also fantastic, making this bakery my go-to spot for both sweet and savory favorites.
The bakery is well managed and clearly takes pride in its offerings. Inside, there’s an instant noodle ramen shop where you can make your own meal on the go with plenty of seating, plus a coffee and boba shop for a complete experience.
If you’re in Alhambra, San Gabriel, Rosemead, or even nearby LA, this place is worth the trip. If you’re spending your money on food, spend it right—this bakery delivers every time.

The bakery with super affordable buns and cakes. The pineapple bun with butter is a treat. Staff is brisk but not rude, and the line moves fast. They take cash and card now, which is convenient. Parking lot is small—be patient.

We were running late to my brothers birthday and my mom called and asked me to stop and get him a cake. We stopped at this little hole in the wall. It’s a bit confusing because there’s a boba place at the back end. But there’s a bunch of pastries that you can pick. In the front window they have cakes. I asked about them and asked which one they recommended, she told me a strawberry chocolate one that did not sound good but I went with it, we got to my mom’s and cut the cake and it was soooo good. The icing wasn’t super sweet like most cakes. It was just right. Even my mother who hates sweets, loved the cake. The box was super cute too. We go back all the time.
