I went here last week brought a 12 piece family meal 34.00 dollars total disaster my wife and kids got sick after eating this. I took this to work for lunch I didn’t know chicken has a foul order after 1 day wow thanks alot popeyes a waste of money time and energy. Not only that contacted the corporate office in Atlanta still haven’t heard from the manager at liberty texas location. It’s like they keep the chicken off temperature battered it and still sold it for human consumption. It’s sad no one takes pride and integrity in their jobs anymore

Went in for a 10pc mild family meal I ordered from online. This was 2 and half hours before close. They informed me they were out of mild,and didn’t have any already cooking and that they could get me spicy immediately. I told them no I wanted mild to which I was informed it would be a 20 minutes wait if I want them to make some. I told them I’d wait. I also tried to order something they were heavily advertising on the menu only to be told they no longer sold them. While waiting a family walked in and waited almost 10 minutes before leaving because no one asked for their order. After another 10 minutes another lady walked in and asked for mild and was then convinced by the cashier it’d be better if she just got spicy. Again this is more than 2 hours before close. After another 15 minutes my food finally came out. Will not be going back because there’s absolutely no reason they shouldn’t have already been making a new batch of chicken.and them convincing customers of to get other things so they didn’t have to make stuff seems wrong.
Edit: upon getting home it was very clear that we received reheated leftover chicken. How this took over 30 minutes makes no sense but also is not acceptable. will be calling into corporate tomorrow morning.

Got there 30 minutes before closing, they did not seem overly happy someone had the nerve to show up 30 minutes before closing. We had a relatively large order. I expected to wait. I did not expect to wait for cold chicken that had already been put into what I can only guess were storage pans for overnight storage. The beans and rice were a little gummy. My guess, they were old and should probably have been thrown out. Won’t willingly go there again. I’ll go somewhere else. Pity, their chicken, both spicy and mild is pretty good.

They were very short handed and super busy. I only saw three employees. One was working the drive-thru, one was at the front counter, and one was cooking. The cashier at the front counter was very nice and helpful. You can tell those guys were working hard. My only problem was the biscuits weren’t fresh but it wasn’t a huge deal. The chicken strips and sides were great. We will definitely be back!

The chicken was cold and dry. My husband called to complain and they said if we wanted to get fresh chicken we needed to come at 10 or 4 because thats when they make it fresh… I ordered at 9:30 pm- my chicken had been sitting since 4 according to the night manager. Yuck!

We had a special 2 can dine for $11.99.Good price and the red beans & rice were good. Chicken was hot and fresh, but the quality was not nearly as good as usual. That’s why 3 stars only.

I’m going to stay in the middle with this one. Only ever had 1 bad experience. They sold me a bucket of chicken one time with the feathers still on the chicken! Was not happy! But hasn’t happened since. Love the chicken it’s great!!! And service is good, speed of service is great. It’s longer then Any other fast food joint, but think about. Can u fry a whole batch of chicken in 5 mins?

Prices are kinda high and their A/C has been out several times but I love their chicken strips, fries and mash taters and their gravy is to die for but they only give you a tiny tiny amount. A few times now they didn’t even give gravy. I hate they always make u pull fwd so that it looks like they are getting orders out faster. That drives me crazy. If I sit their, I’m sure they will spit in my food.
