Finally a great place to eat and drink on North end! Water Rock Station has new owner and new menu as of August 2020 so don’t let bad past reviews keep you from trying this great new spot. We had homemade chips and CHEESE DIP (finally someplace in town with QUESO) which were wonderful. The fish is not typical cod but mahi-mahi and delicious in strips and on the slyders. Potato salad is just like my Aunt Betty makes which is the gold standard of potato salad. Pulled pork slyder was tasty.
They have Friday thru Sunday special that changes weekly. Last two weeks have been corned beef & cabbage and pork chop. I didn’t learn about this place in time to try these myself but I can’t wait until they serve these again.
Bloody Mary is best one I have had in years and under $5. Gin and tonic $3.50. Can’t wait to try their other drinks. Although they do serve drinks I would not describe this place as a bar. It is family friendly place you could bring the kids.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I spoke with owner she said they hope to be open to serve breakfast soon. open 7 days a week. Unlike prior owners they now accept credit cards and cash. Family friendly. No smoking. And a great juke box.
Don’t let bad past reviews keep you from trying this place. All new owners and staff and menu. Inside now has fresh beach theme. Used to be a BBQ place, wouldn’t describe this as BBQ place although there is BBQ on the menu.

My first time there since the new owners took over. I had shrimp tacos and a fish taco they were really good, their homemade chips were really good and then they asked me if I wanted a piece of fried cheesecake. That was so good, definitely worth a shot if you haven’t been there before.

I could not eat at this restaurant, they only accept cash. But I liked the atmosphere, everything is very clean and cozy. Reminds home comfort. Although the room was very smoky. The atmosphere is unconstrained, and the warm atmosphere gives me the desire to come here next time, when I will have cash with me. I really liked this restaurant.
