Technically the burgers are 5 stars all day but overall is not a 5 more like 4.7. Fried pickles were salty but crunchy, not bad. Fries were good but they come with no salt. My Pepsi drink had a weird taste to it. Now the burgers: Number 6 and number 11. Decent size and great flavor on both, excellent burger. Definitely get the burger. I couldn’t complain about the wait time as other customers have stated. For me it was around a 10 minute wait.

This place missed out on a HUGE order!
I had told other truckers in my company that this place had amazing food and had said that next time we were in the area that I would stop and order for all of us.
Since there isn’t any room for semi trucks, the rest of the truckers waited a few miles down the road.
I got there before they opened so I could put our order in.
Two employees pulled up behind me and went inside.
When 10:30am rolled around, I went to the front door, but the door was locked.
I tried calling. NO answer!
I waited until 10:40am, door is still locked.
I tried calling again. NO answer!
I called the other guys to let them know that we won’t be able to get the food I bragged about.
We all wound up eating at Stripes in Falfurrias instead.
I tried calling at 11:15am and someone finally answered.
They said that they dont open up until 11am, BUT the sign on the door says 10:30am, as well as it says 10:am online.
You’d think that whoever owns this place would actually post the correct hours, so that customers would know for sure.
This place really missed out on making a hefty profit that day!!

Food was good but definitely not worth the 45 min wait! Place was not packed by any means. As many other people mentioned customer service was subpar, no greeting simply an order taker. Restroom needs some serious attention. This place has so much potential as I can imagine this place being somewhere you’d stop and have a good meal and few drinks.

I’ve passed by the restaurant many times and finally decided to take a drive just to go and eat here. It’s a small-town eatery where I would love to go back. They offer a drive-thru or you can choose to sit inside or even outside. The lady taking our order wasn’t so friendly. She was polite but not very welcoming. Other than that it is worth the drive. We ate the original burger. Want to go back and try the rest of the menu.

As a burger, afficionado….i know burgers, and this place has top-notch burgers! Wow! I got the bacon chedder burger. You can taste the fresh beef, and the bacon was so crispy! The fries were good and served hot. The iced tea was not that great. The container said Luzianne, but I’m not so sure. There were no napkins only a brown paper towel roll. The bathroom was clean but had no paper towels either, only an old air dryer. The atmosphere was comfortable overall though. It had a small town, family run business, feel. Parking is a little scarce as it is on a weird triangle lot. Overall, it was a great lunch, and I will definitely hit it up again next time I’m in Hebbronville!

The burger was good. It wasn’t 50minutes wait good. If you have an hr to waste then this is where you can do just that. Went through drive through, paid my order and then told to wait on the next window. Waited 40minutes only to be told after “excuse me what did you order again?”. By some of these reviews it sounds like I’m not the only one to experience this. If this is the case then I suggest getting rid of the drive through completely. It’s not a drive through if you have to wait more than 10-15minutes for anything.

Had the Tuscan chicken plate and “Oh Spicy” Barn burger. Both were very tasty. Food came out fairly quickly, and hot. Staff was efficient and friendly…looking foward to coming back.

I ate here on my way to Laredo from Padre Island. I wont stop again. For sure. It has good burger. Good flavors. Lot of choices. BUT…. service is too slow. Waited 20 minutes for 3 tostadas, crispy taco plate and enchilada plate. The Crispy tacos are not crispy. They are just tortillas cooked in oil. So they are not good. The enchiladas were good but they should have taken that long to cook.
I wont eat here again for sure.

Soooooooo goooooood! The BEST BURGERS IN ALL SOUTH TEXAS! Our family drove an hour to eat at the Burger Barn and I was worth the drive!! My husband got hamburger steak and that was amazing!
