Not sure what happened here, but the Cook must have taken the day off.
The Mofongo was OK. It didn’t have pork rinds or Chicharron because I asked him not to put it because today is Friday. The problem was not there. The shrimps that came with it were either overboiled or nuke so so much that they were brittle. I’m falling apart. The Bacalao and rice and peas was good. That was the other items I ordered. With the new owner ownership I can tell the things have changed at Lelos.

Woooowww! Their food is fresh, high quality, huge portions and good prices! The place is clean and the people are really nice. Excellent arroz con gandules, like straight out of PR!!!! So so so good. Best spot around!

I used Lelo’s bbq catering for my wedding! The food was absolutely delicious! Service was amazing as well. They made the ordering process simple and fast. I had questions that they happily clarified and made sure i had everything i needed for my menu. Definitely recommend for catering!!!

My husband and I have come to Lelo’s BBQ twice already, and the food is absolutely delicious! It’s true Puerto Rican cuisine — full of flavor and cooked with care. You can really tell the team works hard to provide quality food.
For us Latinos, especially Puerto Ricans, this place feels like home. The food tastes authentic, and everything we’ve tried so far has been great. The Tres Leches is my favorite — not everyone can make it right, but theirs is amazing! The flan was okay, not my favorite, but still enjoyable.
The only thing I’d suggest is turning down the music a little. The speakers are pretty loud, and it can make it hard to have a normal conversation. If they adjust the volume, it would make the atmosphere so much better.
Other than that, everything else is wonderful — great food, great service, and a taste of Puerto Rico right here!

My husband and I love this restaurant, we went yesterday for lunch and it was so good. We didn’t have to wait too long to be served, even though it was packed. The staff were very friendly and polite, great food selection, it was fresh and delicious.

My family came in all from New York but grew up with grandparents and parents with phenomenal Puerto Rican food so we KNOW to when we see it and this is indescribable. Oh my goodness, the entire dinner we couldn’t shut up on how much this reminds us of Puerto Rico and Abuela’s cooking. Literally no words to describe this, along with that the stuff was super amazing! Please stop by!!!!

The Food is always great and service is good when I come here. Except yesterday on sunday feb15. A blonde haired lady rolled her eyes at me because I was asking questions about the family meal 3. No need to be rude to customers asking a simple and polite question. Sucks that I enjoy this place and some rude lady has to ruin my experience at this establishment.

I frequently travel to and from this area, and this spot came highly recommended by locals. While the service is straightforward and cafeteria-style, don’t let that fool you—the food is genuinely exceptional. We ordered the beef stew and the rotisserie chicken, and the flavor was just wow! The seasoning is perfectly balanced and flavorful without being overwhelming, and the cubed beef in the stew practically melts in your mouth. I’m genuinely glad to have discovered such a reliable and delicious place to eat whenever I’m back in town.
