I walked into The Dairy Sweet just trying to grab something cold… but the male staff specifically oliver had other plans.
Soon as I stepped up, he hit me with that slow smile and steady eye contact like I was the only person in the place. Voice smooth. Calm. Leaned on the counter just enough to close the distance. Every word felt intentional.
When he handed me my ice cream, his fingers brushed mine and he didn’t rush away. Just held the moment. Slight smirk.
Then I looked down — three extra cherries sitting on top like he did it just for me.
Ice cream was sweet… but the energy behind that counter? Sweeter.

They have a ton of menu options!!! I aways love getting the candy swirl! But their prices are little high.

What a great little spot. Gives a nice old fashioned feel. I enjoyed the food. The wait is sometimes a bit lengthy but they cook to order so it definitely makes up for it. The menu is pretty deli style, and they have a great ice cream menu. If in this area I definitely recommend.

Usually we come for the ice cream, but today we saw the pizza sign so of course we had to try it. Delicious AND they deliver to Woodburn!! We found our new pizza place. Way to go Dairy sweet, you nailed it! Great win for Grabill and surrounding areas!

Very Good Soft Serve and good Burgers however the new pizza left alot to be desired, especially for what you pay for it. If the price of pizza was more reasonable it would be worth getting but thats not the case.

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this diamond d in the rough! The burgers are sourced by a local farmer, seasoned to perfection. I ordered the onion rings and the Big Dill Burger. Let me tell you, they were delicious! The grease is fresh and the food arrives hot. There are so many ice cream selections. You could possibly be there all day deciding what to order!
Friendly staff and ownership tops off the list of reasons to give this sweet-treat retreat a try!

My ice cream and French fries were really good, but the service was slow and they had to ask me multiple times if I had a chicken tenderloin or chicken tenders. The girl handling my food wasn’t wearing gloves and had dirt all over her hands 🙁 Finally, when I got my chicken tenders, they were inedible because the meat was chewy and the breading fell completely off the tenders. I used to love going to Dairy Sweet, but the quality, services, and prices have all gone very downhill.

Questioning the customer service – At 7:29 PM I pulled up into the drive-through I sat for 7 minutes before somebody came onto the speaker and said they were sorry that they decided to close the drive-through. Behind me in line were 2 more cars waiting as well. I question the practice of turning cars away after we waited for pretty significant time. If I owned the place I’d like to know how my employees are running the place when I’m not there. I was told “sorry we didn’t see you” you can come inside and order. I get waiting when the inside is busy, but to shut it down after I sat and waited to be acknowledged, highly dissatisfied.

Not terrible, but a lot of teenagers work here and they aren’t exactly thrilled to be there. And the online menu on Google is outdated. Like everything else, the prices have increased substantially. But their wings are fantastic, although they don’t put sauce on for you
