Worst ever!! Went on New Year’s Eve and very few tables so we knew there was a problem. Took forever to get a drink and appetizer, there were only 4 tables occupied. After waiting forever they said our food was coming, otherwise we would have left. Again we waited—no manager on duty To top it off the sushi, sashimi and roll was horrible- not fresh so sent it back, The waiter stated all fish is frozen so very mushy. They would only discount 20% of our bill! Never be back! Don’t other with this joint. They should be shut down.

My family and I for the last 16 years have visited Colorado Springs for Thanksgiving. We have chose to start going to Ai Sushi on Centennial do to the marvelous food service and the entertainment value that we received at their restaurant? I would not hesitate to recommend Ai Sushi for any of your dining needs .

I guess they’re under new management. I’m not very fond of the new management. I was charged two dollars for 2 tiny slices of lemons to go with my escolor ( it is usually served with 2 slices). My super crunch was not very super. I’ve had it here before, but it never tasted on the sour side. I’ve ordered the deep fried cheesecake before to go. And the gentleman told me that it didn’t look very good. Which I know I’ve had in the past but the taste was horrible. I don’t know what kind of strawberries they used or where they used them from, but they were very old. I tried to call them and nobody answered. So I got this in my email to comment on.

Way too pricey for what you get. I ordered a beef bowl and had to pay extra just to get enough protein it ended up being $18. At that price, I might as well go to Chipotle, Cava, or somewhere similar with better value. The sushi rolls were also a bit overpriced, especially for the area. Not really worth it unless they adjust the portions or pricing.

The family who owns it are all smiles and give very good customer service! The food is so good! HUGE sushi rolls too and a great variety! The beef noodles were the best we’ve had! Great job everyone!

Spent over $100 for a chicken dinner for two! Before of overpricing. Since when does a hibachi place charge you extra for sides like rice and noodles? Every other hibachi place I’ve eaten for $30+ a meal comes with rice, at the very least. I get that the economy is tough but this felt slightly scammy.

I didn’t know what to expect of the Ai Sushi & Grill at this location. Our server broke down all those walls with her friendly and playful demeanor. I was quite satisfied with her service. Both my partner and I felt comfortable interacting with her and laughing together.
The sushi chef made our dish look SO good! I was excited to try new rolls that I have never had the pleasure of indulging in. They served some of the best Sake (Salmon) that we have ever eaten at a sushi restaurant. Their Miso Soup had mushrooms in it which was a great addition and also unique to this location. We ordered the Godfather, a Shrimp Tempura Roll, the Lion King, and the Yakiniku.
The Yakiniku was my first introduction to a warm sushi dish that I have ever had. The Jalapeño, Onion. And Teriyaki Beef Toppings were so delicious! I was scraping the plate after eating that one!
The restroom was clean as well as the restaurant. It looks as though the restauraunt could use some touch up as far as paint and environment though and honestly, it did not take away from the experience but it was something I did notice while we were waiting for our food.
I would come back to this location anytime in the future and would recommend it for anybody looking for great service and excellent sushi!!

The place was beautiful inside. Je, our server was amazing and the sweetest. We calamari for the starter being there was a large variety in sushi. The calamari was definitely over cooked and the sauce that is came with was a weird combination with it. We ordered sushi, when it came out it was absolutely beautiful. The taste was good but it wasn’t amazing. The fish didn’t seem fresh for the price you pay for it. But it was later at night so I’ll give it another try.

AI has by far the best sushi in Colorado Springs! Quality, quantity, and superb taste! Our service was great and we loved every bite. The meals for the non-sushi eating guests were great too. My Mom had a beautiful piece of salmon that she really enjoyed.
