This is my first time at Miller and Carter and I have been absolutely blown away. The food was absolutely outstanding. I was here with my partner and we both thought it was incredible!
Our server, Jen, was amazing. Her customer service and dedication to her role was fantastic!
The ambiance inside was awesome. The music isn’t too loud and the seating is very comfortable.

Visited many times before. Atmosphere was again good for a lunchtime. Nikki the server was happy and friendly and again we have seen her before. The 3 courses were all delicious and too tasty to leave even though we were full. Good value for money. Definitely recommend especially if you love steak cooked to perfection.

Wonderful location by the water front. Check the parking times before parking your car. Most times you can park in the afternoon evenings for free. The pub restaurant offers 2 floors of tables and little corners where you can sit, eat and drink. The bar area offers lovely cocktails. We didn’t eat today, but noticed the lovely food heading for the tables, smiling staff and happy customers. A bit pricey, but the views of the harbour meets the requirements. Make sure you are there before sunset. Worth the views.

We came here for a once off meal to celebrate a birthday. From entering to being seated and served the staff were excellent and welcoming, explaining the varieties of steak on offer. The food was amazing and I am just wishing it lasted longer our server was Bo who was very polite and incredibly helpful. Will definitely return again.

Liz was so attentive and helpful during my birthday meal. She made sure we had everything we needed whilst being so friendly. Even brought me a birthday dessert before finishing our meal! Thank you so much.

This was a recommendation from a friend. The waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. The timing of food and drinks to the table was all good.
The streak, onion loaf and sauces were delicious. The triple cooked chips were disappointing and the fries that had been brought to the table in error were definitely nicer. Not sure what to say about the random lettuce wedges! If they came out before the main meal perhaps I could engage with them but having that much cold wet iceberg when you have much more appetising food going cold meant they were wasted. Next time I’ll ask them to leave them out. Will definitely go back.

Excellent meal and excellent service from Eva. L and Jess. Atmosphere would have been 5 star had there not been a couple who where oblivious to everyone else and where watching football on a mobile phone with the volume loud enough for everyone to hear. Should this be an issue for staff to speak to people concerned to maintain the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Had a delicious two course celebratory menu for our anniversary. Steak cooked to perfection. Salmon & tomato soup were both smooth & delicious. Interestingly, my fav part was the onion flavoured lettuce wedge.
We paid a total of 87£ which inc an option 10% service charge.
