We ordered a spread to share: fries, fish tacos, beef & chicken enchiladas, nachos, and a pasta for the little ones.
For $10, the fries came in a portion so tiny it was almost comical, but hey, anything to keep the kids happy. Thankfully, the pasta redeemed itself and was a big hit with them.
The nachos were one of the better dishes of the night , generous toppings and a nice kick from the jalapeños. The enchiladas, however, fell flat. The flavours were mild to the point of forgettable, with not enough tang, spice, or freshness to bring it all together. Mostly just packed with meat and lacking that vibrant balance you’d expect. Between the two fillings, the chicken definitely outshone the beef.
The fish tacos were… fine. Not bad, not amazing, just sitting somewhere in the middle.
Overall, it felt like a “try once and move on” kind of place. Glad we got to tick it off the list, but it’s not somewhere I’ll be raving about or craving anytime soon.
Didn’t need to wait for a seat, relatively easy to get a seat.
Ordering was fairly easy too, there is a QR code for ordering the menu and a physical menu for us to visualize the order. The app was quite easy to manage.
We ordered an appetizer, the loaded nachos, a grilled beef taco and a pull beef sandwich for our mains.
The grilled beef taco came, looks very sad. For 18 SGD, the amount of meat in the taco was barely there. Flavour was okay, for the price,I could have, gotten 2 full loaded kebabs elsewhere thsy can feed 4. Disappointing.
The loaded nachos came after. Same thing, for 16 SGD the load on the nachos was quite disappointing, as I expected more load on the nachos, because im sure when someone ordered “loaded” nachos, they are expecting a good mix of everything on each bite, while me and my wife had to ration each and spread the meat thin on each nacho crisp.
Don’t get me started on the pulled beef torta sandwich, meat was dry. By the time it came i was already very disappointed in the meal that I decided to have it to go.
I decided to cancel the creme brulee that I initially ordered and packed the entire meal.
Bill came out to be about 80 SGD, for 3 items ans 2 drinks, yeah, im quite appalled by the pricing and the reduced quality of the food.
So overall rating, yeah nah cheers, will not be back here again. Ive had better Mexican food elsewhere, price and flavour wise, not worth your time and the hole in the pocket.
We also loved the pulled beef torta and bang bang prawn tacos, both bursting with bold, spicy flavors. The salted striploin bowl was juicy and hearty, and even the tacos minestrone stood out as a comforting surprise.
For dessert, the churros were crispy and golden, and the crème brûlée had the perfect caramelized top – a sweet finish to an amazing meal.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food – we’ll definitely be back!
Food portion can be improved. Items come in mini size, more like a tapas. Would have been better if they serve them in real meal size.
Love the loaded nachos!
I really recommend, especially their quasedilla. Plus, their drink, it was very nice
As for service, can’t comment much. Every thing done via my mobile. The only human interaction was when the food was served and paying at the counter. Words exchanged were pretty much ‘thank you’ from me that’s pretty much the service touch points in most of the restaurants in Singapore. More self service and less human interaction.
