I usually love a beef from Star Gyros but today I don’t know what they replaced it with I ordered a combo but had to take the sausage off cause it was burnt and dry had to take those off just to eat the sandwich. Hopefully they get it together been going here since they opened and always enjoyed the food. Today must have been an off day.

The food was not good and the fires were overly hard like stale old fries , on top of that I asked for extra mild sauce they didn’t even put regular mild sauce just barely . The beef was soggy falling apart as well

This place USE to be the spot about 10 years ago when they had footlong Italian beefs. If you a true Chicagoan you know what I’m talking about because this was one of the 24 hour spots. Since switching over management the quality of the food has gone down. None the less its still good. It might not be what it once was but I will still go there for a beef if I’m in the neighborhood.

Wings were nice & fresh a little big for my liking. Gyro was okay they only put gyro sauce and none of the toppings i asked for but reasonably priced. I ordered through Uber and everything was fresh just few minor issues

Great food, but the customer service is a hit or miss depending on who is taking your order and how they feel that day. They have way too many people just hanging out in there. It makes me nervous when I try to pay for my food and people are begging, standing close or high/drunk falling all over the place

Ok so this is my middle of the night go to since i work nights… I dont know if the man was pissed cause ol girl didnt hear my order right… I ordered a chicken philly and when i get there they told me it was a regular one… he said he would change it… but once i got back to work the sandwich smelled funny i tasted it and it tasted old. Ordered a BEEF dipped well with hot peppers. When I say that was the NASTIEST BEEF I’ve EVER HAD…omg…and the wait time was ridiculous. NEVER again will I order from there. Lobby area was nasty as well.

24 hour service! You’ll wait about 20min for your food depending on how busy it is. Usually park in front. Good Food. We had the foot long Jim Shoe Sub. Uggg classic sub they make very well here. Also had the gyro philly cheese steak sub. Great mash up. We are hooked.

I would not order Uber eat from here I think they have some kind of deal with some of there drivers that work as a driver on Uber eats that cancel customer orders. That causes the company to cancel the order and than charge you a cancellation fee and than charge you again for a new driver to deliver your food
