Service gets a 4. The barista was friendly and suggested I can make my horchata oat milk sweeter by adding an extra pump of horchata ! Relatively clean, it’s towards closing time on a Thursday evening, parking is tough but lucked out parking 2 blocks down on Laskin Road in front of shops and summer house Apartments.

When we walked through the door, she immediately looked at us in a strange way that made us feel unwelcome, almost like she didn’t even want us there. She seemed annoyed from the start and clearly didn’t want to take our order, showing no effort to provide service. The way she stared at us was uncomfortable and disrespectful, and it was obvious that her behavior wasn’t just about having a bad day—it came across as racist. The combination of her attitude, her unwillingness to serve us, and the way she looked at us made it clear that we were being treated unfairly simply because of who we are, and that kind of treatment is unacceptable.

This Starbucks was particularly welcoming as it was cool and dry inside while it was hot and heavily raining outside. The young lady serving the coffees was kind and attentive despite a long shift. It was almost closing time.
In the end, despite being uncomfortable due to nasty weather, the hot coffees were great!

20 minutes waiting, seems like they only care about the drive thru customer. This is why dunking donuts is better… there coffee isn’t as good but hey at least they give it to you. No cream cheese with the bagels. And they can’t even put the lids on all the way… booo get better

I came to this Starbucks for coffee and to work, parked in what looked like a customer spot. While I was inside, they had my car towed.
Signs between customer and employee parking are identical. No markings. No warning. The towing company said management claimed I wasn’t a customer, which is false. I had the receipt.
Staff inside didn’t care. One admitted their supervisor has been pushing to tow more cars.
If you’re picking this location because it has a parking lot near the Oceanfront, think twice. It’s not worth the risk.

Starbucks is a reliable go-to for a familiar cup of coffee or a tasty seasonal drink. You pretty much know what you’re going to get, and the convenience of so many locations is undeniable. My drinks are usually made correctly, and the staff are generally friendly and efficient, especially considering how busy they can get. The mobile ordering app is also a huge plus for a quick pick-up.
While the consistency is a major strength, it sometimes feels like that comes at the cost of a truly exceptional experience. Prices have crept up, and some of the food items can be a bit hit-or-miss. Occasionally, you’ll get a drink that’s not quite up to par, or the store might be a bit messy during peak hours.
Overall, Starbucks delivers a solid and dependable coffee shop experience. It’s not necessarily the place for a mind-blowing artisanal coffee discovery, but for a consistently good beverage and a comfortable spot, it usually hits the mark. A few tweaks to consistency in drink quality across all orders and perhaps some more competitive pricing or value options would easily bump it up to a five-star experience for me.

We came at a busy time but 40 minutes for two flat whites is extreme. We were shrugged at when inquiring with staff after 30 minutes why our order was taking so long. People who came in well after us were leaving with drinks in hand. Our coffees were also requested with blonde espresso and were not made correctly. Disappointing to say the least.
