I’ve been wanting to go to this place for months! My hubby made the mistake of asking me where “I’d” like to go to eat today…Jim ‘Nick’s BBQ I proclaimed! And Oh my gosh! Slap your grandma! The food was fantastic!
JeriLynn at the bar – gave some great recommendations! The brisket was phenomenal! Don’t get me started about the Mac’n’cheese! Had to take some home to my mom and sister! Hubby had the fried chicken. He rarely compliments the chicken. He said this was some of the best fried chicken he has ever had! You could taste the freshness!

The food and staff was absolutely amazing. Me and my husband each got the 3 meat combo. That way we could try most of their meats
We tried the ribs, the pool chicken, the pool pork, the jalapeno sausage, the Turkey and of course, the brisket, all of it was amazing. Our sides were loaded potatoes, collar greens, baking Green Beans, baked beans, which were unfortunately a little too sweet for me. But they were very nice and switched them out for their coleslaw
And we also tried their banana pudding and their bread pudding.Absolutely amazing!!

My husband and I visited Wednesday and wanted to try a little of everything. We got the ribs, two versions of pulled pork (vinegar style and with mustard sauce), marbled brisket (my favorite! So smoky and tender), and jalapeno cheddar sausage. Price is what you would expect for good chain barbecue. With everything pictured (two three meat platters, rib platter, deviled eggs, a beer, and a coke) we spent 95 dollars before tip. The deviled eggs were simple but very tasty. Potato salad was mustard style and very good. The chili was a little cold but we took it home to reheat. The beans were also very good simmered with jalapeños and pork. Complementary cheddar biscuits were moist and a nice touch as you wait for your meal. The house barbecue sauce was vinagary but still very enjoyable. At this restaurant you order at the counter and take a number. Not many table-touches after that but that wasn’t a problem. You fill your own sodas at the machine. We will absolutely be back!

I’m picky when it comes to BBQ and don’t typically crave it, but I’ll never say no to a meal here!
Atmosphere: The restaurant is clean and spacious with the register aligned directly across from the front door in the center of the building!
Service: You place your order at the register, pick a table, and get your food delivered to your table. The workers here are kind and quick to fix any issues they come across. I also had a pickup to-go order here before, and their team brought the bags out to my car.
Menu items: I get their Joe’s Original Turkey Sandwich with their trimmings of potato salad and baked beans! I’ve also gotten their Pitmaster Nacho Platter with pulled pork for the protein option! I love the portion sizes, the freshness of the meat, and their sauce!
I recommend Jim ‘N Nick’s for meals, pick up orders, and events!

I had a lovely dining experience here at Jim N Nicks on Davis. My food was fresh and hot, the service was impeccable. Jolie repeatedly checked on me and asked if I needed anything, and when I ended my dining experience I ordered take out to go. Savanna was very helpful and had a positive attitude that would definitely make me dine here again.

I used the drive through. Staff was friendly. I got spare ribs but unfortunately I could not eat them. They were very salty for no good reason. I remember my first visit. I got the spare ribs and I was hooked. They were perfect. Juicy and taste was very good. I don’t know what happened from them until now. For the salt to overpower the rib just cannot be healthy.

Loved everything here! I got a 2 meat plate with pulled pork and brisket, baked beans and mac n cheese. Every single thing was delicious. I also love the mini cheese muffins they bring around. Service was very friendly. Eating here was a highlight of my trip to Pensacola.

The standout feature is the customer service. Everyone is very friendly and genuine. While it is not a traditional service-type restaurant, the staff does check in with you from time to time. Enough to help without being in the way.
The food was good. My wife had the ribs which she declared were excellent. My son and I both opted for the brisket. It was good, but not outstanding. No complaints about the sides – don’t know if they were made fresh or frozen, but they were good.
The prices are not cheap. I don’t suppose anything is inexpensive, and the location and staff costs surely drive up the menu prices. Three meals plus a tip (and sodas – not beer) set us back $100.
