When I tell y’all this was my favorite part of visiting my hometown, I ain’t lying. To be quite honest, I’d only been a few times when I was a kid. Well now as an adult, I brought my future husband here for breakfast & we had such a great time. Ordering was extremely easy, the service was absolutely amazing, and the food was extremely delicious! It was a little crowded, but that typical for this place. The servers quickly found us a spot, as they saw us looking around. I experienced some of the best service I’ve ever had anywhere. This restaurant is definitely a must visit spot if you’re in New Iberia. Highly recommend this awesome establishment!

Beautiful little cafeteria. Great service. Friendly staff. We were camping and a local guy at a gas station told us about this place. The etouffee and grits were a surprise. I must say the grits were some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m not a fan of grits normally. The portions were generous. I’ve never seen potatoes made like they did here and had an excellent flavor. Staff was very helpful and sweet and patient. The president of the parish was there that day and spoke with us for a little while. Architecture and deep ceiling inside his breathtaking. What a great little cafeteria. We were just in town camping so this was a pleasant surprise. If you get a chance go there. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back if we’re in this part of the world.

Great breakfasts cooked to order and hot Community Coffee ☕️. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. Remember to tip your waitresses!! They are open for lunch also with delicious food. Follow them on Facebook for lunch menus. Centralized in historic downtown New Iberia. Stroll along the bayou or sit at the gazebo afterwards.

We are from Arkansas and we’re told this place had amazing breakfast and it absolutely was the best breakfast I think I’ve ever had. I recommend the shrimp & grits. The ladies working were super nice, the atmosphere is very chill. You HAVE to try it!!

Good food and good value. Service was okay, but missing part of the order. Would not admit nistake or offer to refund missing item. Cashier/check out system antiquated and tickets written in a form of shorthand that is only known to them at the restaurant. Otherwise still would go back there
