We enjoyed our diner very much, starting by CC, she was great and made us feel at home. She was sure to help us with the selections as it was our first time. Kudos for CC! The food was tasteful and exotic, my selection was duck leg jambalaya, it was a good! My hubby enjoyed the house made pastrami sandwich that came with burger meat and Gruyere cheese. The fries were really delicious! We’ll be back!

I like the classic and relaxing vibe of this restaurant.
The porch was lovely and they had a thoughtful table arrangement where half of the chairs were in the sun and the other half were in the shade of the pillar.
The waitress was great and the people at nearby tables were friendly too. It was a great representation of authentic southern hospitality in a welcoming and well-appointed space.

Always a wonderful experience. The pork rinds with queso are a must! Not only is the food terrific but the staff is professional and the ambiance of the restaurant is upscale yet cozy. I always recommend this restaurant to people coming to the Wilson/Rocky Mount area.

Great atmosphere and location, on the outer edge of the popular Rocky Mount Mills area. Freindly staff are more than happy to help pick out a beer or food item, and provide light banter.
Burger reviews: I’ve been here twice now, and I’ve tried the Over the Tap Cheddar Burger and the Venison Burger. Both were okay, with good quality meat and nice buns (I prefer the OTC Cheddar burger). If you’re good with drinks, make sure you pair this with a good beer otherwise the tastes may clash (ask me how I know).

Caution! Times vary! The kitchen will close before the time they state on google so make sure you give them a ring before you go. We arrived at 9:20ish and they closed at 11pm. They were just about to close the kitchen which made us feel horrible but on our part, we had no idea. Without hesitation, they welcomed us to sit, drink and eat. We were out by 10:30. Service was VERY quick and they were delighted to serve us.. The food was very good and I’m sure it would’ve been even better if we had arrived sooner. We were in town for a late funeral and were looking for a good local bite to eat. Great beer selection, wide selection of food options, and fantastic service. Wish we could’ve stayed for dessert but we didn’t want to intrude any further. The bar stays open until closing time so enjoy their drink menu and atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! A hidden little gem in Rocky Mount. The made from scratch food is heavenly! Scotch eggs, boudin balls, buffalo cauliflower, and buffalo chicken was so so so good! And a slice of red velvet cake to take home for later! Love the staff here, always smiling!

Our server was Marisa C. She was excellent!! Excellent dinner of Shepherd’s Pie ( I paired it with a cabernet ) for desert carrot cake with burnt bourbon ice cream!! So delicious!! Will definitely be dinning here again!
