We stopped in Lovell on our way home from Yellowstone. So glad we ended up at the Mustang Cafe and BBQ. 2 of us had the pulled pork sandwich and fries- everything was delicious. I tried some of the sweet potato wedges and they were great too! There was also a hot beef sandwich at our table and it looked good and Steve said it was great. I was traveling with 2 small dogs. It was too hot to leave them in the car so I asked if I could bring them on the patio with me and they said yes. We found a nice shady spot and enjoyed our meal on the patio. I was happy and so were Ozzie and Rico! So glad we stumbled upon this place in the little town of Lovell, we’ll definitely stop again on our next trip through.

Traveling through bighorn and staying at horseshoe bend campground. Well we needed some groceries and we have a rule never shop hungry so we decided to stop here at the Mustang Cafe & BBQ. Best decision ever. Super cozy and comfy dining room, incredible service and even better food! If we ever come back through we’ll be stopping in again. Thanks!

Parking is a bit deceiving because there wasn’t a crowd when we arrived. Easy to get a table even though there wasn’t a sign or a host to greet you. We knew servers were busy and allowed them to finish their duties with other people; other people may have thought otherwise. By the time a server recognized us, then service was much better. Food came out hot and presented well. Even had my cup of orange juice comped for whatever reason. I ordered the Farmer’s Breakfast and substituted the toast for a pancake. The pancake was delightful, fluffy and melted in my mouth. Never tasted anything like this before! My husband ordered a basic breakfast. Their sourdough toast was soft and fluffy. He was enjoying the extra crispy hash browns with eggs and thick bacon slices. Food was filling and satisfying!

1st visit:Had the Brisket, and Baby back ribs with beans and mashed potatoes/gravy everything was absolutely amazing barbecue sauce was awesome. Best barbecue in Wyoming!
2nd visit: The fish was cooked in oil that was not hot enough,making it soggy honestly the house chips weren’t much better. I told the waitress and she just kinda said sorry idk id stick to the BBQ it is Wyoming afterall

After a long day of sightseeing we found the Mustang BBQ Cafe on Google and were pleased. Everything from the patriotic decor to the delicious food was outstanding. Special kudos to Dusty, our friendly server. With 15 customers to take care of, she single handedly took care of us with speed and great customer service. #thewanderingvolpis

We were traveling back after our visit from Big Horn Canyon and we planned grab dinner in Lovell and we decided to have here. It was a great choice. The ambience, taste of food was great and we received very warm service. We ordered Chicken Alfredo pasta with sweet potatoes wedges on the side; it was delicious and their hot chocolate is a must try!!
Note: Their breakfast menu ends by 2:00. We really wanted to try the omelette and pancakes. Unfortunately we missed it.

The food was pretty good. Service was very slow. Took 10 mins or longer to be acknowledged. A couple came in after us, ate and left long before us. We waited 15 mins just to pay. The place is cozy and nicely decorated, but there are a lot of flies.
Also, to note (bc no one will tell you and there no signs up), but you seat yourself, and there is a dining room off to the left beyond the bathrooms.

We stopped by the Mustang Cafe for a late lunch after visiting the Bighorn Canyon. The Cafe was a great stop to refresh and refuel before continuing our day. Our food (Lovell Club and Mustang Burger) was cooked well and tasted great. Our server was friendly and prompt with refills on our drinks.
