My daughter and grandchildren took me out for Valentine’s Day to this restaurant. This is the best Mexican restaurant that I ever been to. You have to try it for yourself. The food is delicious. The lettuce, tomato chicken beans, dip,chips everything was superb. I didn’t get no stomach cramps I didn’t get no gas pressure from this food. Everything was delicious, and fresh, they give you tall glasses of drinks. You have to try it for yourself! I’m just keeping it real some of these restaurants I go to before I can get home. My stomach is cramping. This is the best restaurant overall Mexican or not they give you a lot of food as well. they need to hire somebody that can speak and understand English and Spanish. our waitress did her best though..

It’s a comfortable cozy place. We ordered drinks for 3 adults and 2 children. We waited about 30 to 40 minutes before the waitress came with our drinks. She also brought chips and dip. The place wasn’t packed. 2 tables had people at it. They already had food. About 20 minutes later she came back to take our food order. Come to find out, the waitress didn’t speak English. We had communication issues but made it work. We just pointed to stuff on the menu. Another family came in after us. They were served right away. The waitress checked on them and not us. They all spoke Spanish. We waited almost an hour to get food. We finished both baskets of chips. I ordered cheese dip to go with the chips. It came out with our food right when I was about to tell her nevermind. Our food came a few minutes after the family that arrived after us. We were looking up how to say stuff on our phones to communicate with her. It was almost like she was avoiding us. When we asked for the check, she brought it almost right away and waited for us to pay. She walked off and came right back. But when we were trying to get her attention to get straws, to go plates, and bags for our food she was no where in sight. If you didn’t understand, just say that or get help. Don’t avoid us. She brought us one less drink than what we ordered. We had to wait a while for that. She brought 4 plates of food to table and it’s five us. She brought half my food maybe 10 minutes after every one else. Then brought the other half another 10 to 15 minutes later. She slammed the hot skillet plate in the table. And it burned me. She did say sorry but walked off after that. Another family came in and they were served right away. One of them ordered the same as I and she carefully sat the skillet plate down. I wanted to enjoy myself but it was too much. I didn’t feel welcome and I had my kids with me. Didn’t want to make a big deal.

Tacos La Patrona #2 is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with the chicken quesadilla and Asada taco being real standouts. The salsa is fantastic—flavorful and fresh. The service was excellent, and everyone was super friendly. The ambience adds to the experience, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. Great desserts too!

We were greeted by smiling faces as we entered the restaurant, and seated immediately near the full bar. This location displays a lot of art, rustic decor emphasizing various culturally significant influences . When I say the chunky guacamole was highlighting savory seasonings, frozen margarine with the right mixology twist, and the pictures of the food don’t begin to emphasize the bountifully portioned quesadillas and burritos and more… don’t deprive your taste buds…. this food will definitely set the bar much higher for Mexican Cuisine. We gave the team at this location 5 . This is a neighborhood gem, so if you’re in the McDonough(Henry County) stop thru for lunch/dinner or family night out. Nael was a great server the food was great and authentic as promised beverages are a little overpriced and gratuity is automatic I didn’t like that also they played the same three songs our entire time the music is good but we need more songs please overall we will be back and we will return with others thanks for the great experience! Oh yea my Texas margarita was great also !

I just got home from there,I went between 4 and 5 pm,I was the only customer there,it was my first time since they opened last week,the 2 ladies there was nice,the food was good, the only thing I did not like was the waitress could have came back to my table more,at my usual Mexican restaurant I get ask,would you like more chips and salsa,etc,I will try it again,and order another item,I did give a pretty good tip,update:11-4-2024,I just got back from trying it the 2nd time,it was great,I got the steak fajitas again,I wanted to try the Mocajeta bowl,but decided not too,one thing I did not look at last time was a tip is already included,but I usally give more that that anyway like today,but it gets 5 stars,the waitress was very nice,she told me her name,but I did not fully understand, but she was very good,I will be back.UPDATE:I went last Friday Febuary 7th it was my 3rd time going, my first time getting food to go,I got the steak casadila,I got it home and it was 3 little triangles,the ones I am used to are one big tortilla with think pieces of meat,onions and peppers,I have to say this was disappointing,I could have went to my normal Mexican restaurant and got the big one I am used to,I will not be ordering them from here from now on,the ladies at the counter were nice,I gave them a tip,I wanted to get the mocajeta bowl next,I have had that a lot of times at my regular place,but I don’t know how that will be,this place is better to get to and from,without a lot of traffic, I used to go all of the time when it was Shane’s BBQ.UPDATE:I went on Tuesday February 28th to get steak fajitas to go,I really wanted some,the guy behind the counter showed me the menu and said lunch,I ask I can not get steak fajitas?He said no,I then told him I might be back,I then went to my normal restaurant and got a dinner portion,I told a few friends about it,they said that is weird,you should be able to get anything at lunch,so my rating has gone down.
