It was so hard to choose what to have, that i needed to order from Lupita’s twice during my trip to New Bern! Carnitas street-like tacos were flavorful, the Cheese Pupusa so yummy but the prize worthy plate was their Yuca Frita con Chicharrones

I called to place order over phone, I do not speak Spanish and the lady was polite and had me hold for someone that spoke English. I ordered tacos, pupusas, and sopas. All were very delicious and only around $3 a piece. Order was done within 15 mins on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. Stores and restaurant were very clean.

Soooooo, so good! Authentic Latin food with great service. Find Salvadorian dishes that are also common in Carribbean cuisine, like yuca frita, plátanos maduros, arroz blanco ect. My new favorite.

Absolutely hands down the best authentic food in town! Loved the atmosphere loved the staff. You have to wait for your food but it is so worth it. They cook to order. Will definitely be back!

Everything we’ve tried here is SO tasty! Pupusas, baleadas, taquitos (I think it’s labeled enchilada) and sopes.
Horchata could be better, tastes like a mix, at least the last time we ordered horchata, but it’s been about a year. We just order coke now.

I am from Tampa, FL and we are lucky to have pretty darn good authentic Mexican and Latin American food. Lupita’s knocked it out of the park! I ordered a mixture of tacos and pupusas and all were fantastic. I hadn’t had a pupusa before, so that was a special treat for me. Delivery was a huge win as I was stuck in a hotel room with my young daughter. The food was well-cooked, well-priced, and quite flavorful. I enjoyed the hot sauces that came with…though neither was super spicy. Definitely would order again!

The seating is small and it’s like a take out restaurant. But the food was incredible! We had tacos, sopes, pupusas, and Carne asada de Tajada which was out of this world. You wouldn’t go for the ambience but the service and food top notch!
