Food was okay. Husband’s cheesburger was good. My tenderloin sandwich was a bit dry still, even with ordering cheese and extra mayonnaise. It may have been better had I ordered lettuce and tomato. Luckily I ordered coleslaw so I slap some on my tenderloin ! lol Otherwise, the taste of food was good.. We made a 45 minute drive here. We arrived 15 to 20 minutes before the dining area closed which we were not aware of before we left home. It just stated that they were open until 9. We didn’t know the inside closed at 8. So luckily, we made it just in time, but they were sure to make us aware and tried to get us to change our mind about eating in because they were trying to close. Before we ordered our food, they said just to let you know our dining room closes in 15 minutes. You still want to order it for here? That’s the only thing that made this experience, upsetting and uncomfortable. I explained to her that yes we,drove a long way just to eat here. I had to assure them that we would try to hurry and eat quickly. I just wish we were not rushed and made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed because they were worried about locking their doors. I hated being watched just to see if we were finished and leaving yet. we most likely will return here to try it again at an earlier time since we know that the dining area closes at 8 pm. I just hope it’s a better experience next trip because it seems to be a pretty cool place. We noticed the outside drive thru staying pretty busy the time we were there. Staff seemed like a bunch of younger kids but food was made quick.

Absolutely fantastic old-fashioned cheeseburger. Fries were seasoned and they were great! Highly recommend this place. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. Don’t miss out on this little place!

Really nice old school dinner…. I grew up with a Clancy’s in Bucyrus, Ohio for a many of years ….. .25 hamburgers and .10 frys ….. thank you for keeping this one open!

Food: The food is great, and it reminisces of an older Greasy Spoon restaurant.
Service: Great service, everyone was jovial, and all was quaint.
Atmosphere: Atmosphere looks modern with the addition of posters you can scan with your phone, but maintains the old diner style. There is even a community bulletin board that is still being added on to!
In conclusion, Clancy’s Hamburgers is quite the treat for anyone that craves a burger with a classic taste.

Food was okay ice cream machine broke down no milk shake, out of a side for daily special. Did sub tho. Dinner was cute inside had the take me back I time old fashion touch with the modern updates. But, some of the staff made the atmosphere less then impressive. Dirty looks complaining the whole time we were in there. And as I would try to look around to see the details she would be glearing as if we were an inconvenience trying to mop because we decided to dine in. And as we exit with the most sparkly good evening she could sputter out she did. But we just walked out and greeted her a good night as well as she watched us walk to our vehicle from the windows I found odd. Then as we drove around to leave the parking lot. She took the extra effort and went to the other side of the Dinning on her freshly mopped floor to give us the a fair well middle finger. Oh bless her little heart. I do wish her night gets better. Maybe one day I will get the pleasure of meeting the day crew.

I got scrambled eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. My scrambled eggs literally look like an omelette the toast, the butter that it has what it looks like, though whirl The fake liquid butter they put on the grill. The hashbrowns taste like dirty fryer oil. This is sad because I always eat there.

You’ll find a true slice of classic Americana here. An unassuming local spot that has been around for over 50 years, serving amazing no frills burgers and dogs for incredible prices. The entire atmosphere reminds me of Beefy King in Orlando. Classic adornments and well worn fixtures that should never be replaced given the history each holds. Leave your ego and urgency at the door, Clancy’s is from a different era frozen in time. Truly a gem.
