I honestly dont understand how this place is so highly rated. The photos they advertise dont look anything like what you actually get. If I ate in I would have sent it back. We only ordered lettuce wraps and deep fried pork wontons. The wontons dont look anything like the photo on their site. The lettuce wraps barely had anything in them and what they had was bland. Won’t be back.

I love it here! Such tasty and flavourful food. The service is great! I love how affordable it is. Highly, highly recommend! I only wish there was more seating! I recommend #34 Lemongrass chicken with grilled pork rice dish.

Viet House Restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The food is incredibly tasty, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, with vegan and vegetarian options—which we truly appreciate.
It was our first visit, and this place instantly became our favorite restaurant in Steinbach. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere felt relaxed and pleasant, and the interior looked bright, clean, and inviting.

My Asian palate is very happy! Their House Special Noodle Soup is insanely good! So flavorful and comforting. You seriously can’t go wrong with this one! I added their pickled chili sauce from the side and ohhh boy, it gave the kick! My fiancé tried the Peanut Satay Noodle Soup for the first time (he usually sticks with the beef) and he was so impressed! When a friend said this was the best spot in town, he wasn’t kidding. The food tastes like home – warm, hearty, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

The vegan vermicelli bowl is outstanding!! Peanut sauce to sub the fish sauce, paired with the crispiest tofu I’ve ever had… simply remarkable. I’ve tried lots of Vietnamese restaurants in Winnipeg as well, and Viethouse will forever be #1, it’s not even close ❤️

My wife and I love to eat here! Our favourites are the pho and vermicelli bowls! They also moved to a new location (same building, different unit) and it feels so much warmer and looks a lot nicer. Great improvement on their facility. Service is always great along with the food!

This place is phenomenal! I finally got around to placing a pickup order. It took around 45 min to get through to anyone on the phone. I started calling at 4pm and only had anyone pickup at 4:45pm. Once answered, I was told they were super busy and my 1 item would be ready at 6:30pm.
Normally this would be enough to frusturate me, but the food is absolutely incredible. 10/10. Just plan ahead if you want to place an order.
