Yes, this gas station without a sign hides a very good northern Indian (Punjab) restaurant. We arrived following Google maps and thought we had to be in the wrong place but we found out the place is owned by an Indian family and is popular with anyone needing some great and inexpensive food along I-40. Nothing fancy inside, this is about quality working class Indian food.

Was skeptical to try it out reading the reviews, but totally worth going. The food was really delicious! It was so good that you could easily overlook the little cleanliness issue. Tables were a little unclean, bathrooms were fine. We accidentally walked into kitchen too, it was clean! But with food that tasty, I’d definitely eat here again!

Disorganized and confusing, bit dirty, but decent food at this indian truck stop restaurant. When we first arrived we sat down and waited a while before asking a man in the dining room who was chilling and listening to loud indian music if they were open. He informed us that we pay up front. We went upfront and asked for a menu. We ordered our food and ordered a tea and water. We were then informed that we would pay for food after but got charged 3.50 for the water and tea presumably? The clerk did not speak english well enough to clarify. So we sat down and waited in the dining room again. The table was quite dirty.
Then another man came with a menu to take our order. He was very nice but his english was also very poor. I explained that we had ordered up front and been charged for a water and a tea. He just asked us to reorder, which we did. They were out of our first choices so we ordered the chicken vindaloo and the mutter paneer along with a roti bread. I had very low expectations at this point.
The wait was reasonable, especially for homemade food. We got our food and were pleasantly surprised that it was pretty tasty. The chai tea was very good too. When we went up front to pay , i got overcharged 3 dollars when compared to the prices on the menu for what we ordered. That in addition to the 3.50 charge in the beggining was annoying, but i didnt feel like arguing because of the language barrier.
The reason for the 3 star review was not the food ,which was good, but rather the confusing set up and service, the overcharging and the dirtiness.

Oh my God. Someone call the restaurant regulator. A roach came onto my plate as I was eating. The restrooms are …you couldn’t make me use it if my life depended on it. Vile, disgusting, abominable, disease ridden, vomit inducing, a gutter, . I’m sure of it ….this place will give someone a foodborne illness or even an airborne one that will actually be life threatening. The people that run this place have no regard for human life. The value the Dollar above all.

Loved this place. Aloo Gobi Paratha is out of the world. Everything was like home cooked. Address displayed in google is wrong you have to take Exit 267 (not Exit 275)

Filthy and dirty restaurant. Restrooms are extremely neglected by staff. Don’t pay to get sick. Bad customer service. I called ahead 30 minutes and when I arrived order was not ready.
