I would give this establishment a ZERO if allowed.
Ordered online. Specified spice level for all dishes, order was well over $120 for family of 9. Picked up and brought home, all dishes that were requested at a spice level of 1 or 0 were so spicy they couldn’t be comfortably consumed. Called immediately and asked for the order to be repeated to me. Female on the other end read it back as it was ordered, when I told her that the spice levels were not as ordered I was asked if I wanted them remade. I told them I preferred a refund as traveling back to the restaurant was going to take 40 min round trip and I was not interested in making the drive again. I asked her to please get a manager, she put me on hold and came back and said the dishes would have to be returned or I could have a credit for next time, and at that time I told her honestly there probably wouldn’t be a “next time” . I again asked for a manager and asked why that request hadn’t been fulfilled yet. Was put on hold yet again and when someone returned to the line I was told it was the manager. I told him the situation, I said I would like a refund for the dishes that our family couldn’t eat as I had ordered them correctly and that it wasn’t my fault the restaurant had made them incorrectly. He stated it was policy to have them returned in order to receive a refund when I asked if I would be compensated for gas and time to do so he didn’t answer me. I told him I would be happy to instead leave a google review with photos so we could both be inconvenienced. Thank you again Lemongrass for the terrible food and service!

I’m a little bit mixed on my feelings. I think the sushi portion sizes were a bit small whereas the entree sizes were very generous. For the flavor and quality of food the Sushi was really good and the entrees were subpar with over cooked chicken and shrimp and nearly no flavor. For my entrees I got a spicy level 1 where 0 is the lowest and 5 is the highest and I don’t think my food was made in the same restaurant as flavor. The staff was very nice and the food was piping hot even when I got home. Not sure if the chef just forgot where the seasonings were tonight. I’ve had a bunch of folks rave about the flavor of Lemon Grass. Will likely give it another shot but if the second is like the first, no chance I go back for a third.

Coming from Asia, I tempered my expectations when visiting but was pleasantly surprised by the service and food at this place. My family ordered the chicken fried rice (chicken a little overcooked), red curry chicken, and lunch special (yellow curry). The portions were generous and the flavor was good. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. Clean bathrooms. Would definitely go back!

Best sushi spot in maryville/ Knoxville. I now live in Atlanta and I have yet to find a place that is better. The rice is cooked and seasoned perfectly .. get the New York roll or crunchy tuna. The outside looks like a trap house but give it a chance .. the atmosphere inside is absolutely horrible and you can’t talk loudly or everyone hears your conversation. Anyway, LOVE this place!

We had not eaten here in years. Food was very good though they were out of 3 things we ordered… and in my sweet potato tempura roll the sweet potato was so raw it was crunchy of of that rather than the fact it was tempura fried… server was good and atmosphere was too cold and kind of blah…

So grateful this place survived Covid and is still open. Just love the food. Really exceptional. Picked up a to-go order tonight. It never disappoints! I love the yellow curry, the fresh basil rolls with plum sauce, and the New York sushi roll. But everything is good!

Service was excellent and a nice quiet atmosphere. Stopped in for lunch and the specials were priced fairly and I’d say worth a stop for your own impressions.
I wasn’t very impressed with the meal, but it arrived quickly and as I said, services were quick and the restaurant was very clean and pleasant.
The curry and the miso was rather thin and underwhelming for my personal taste. The rice was good, the sobe noodles seemed overcooked and the pork in all our dishes was tough and seemed precooked and not seasoned. The sushi roll was thin and I really don’t want to critique it unless I try a full order.
Portion size was large for the cost so another plus. I personally think better options are available.

Have been trying to like this spot for a while since I moved here 10 years ago . Tried it again this week. Just got pad see ew, a noodle dish and soup. Got all the way home with my meal and the noodles were dry, no sauce, nothing. Instead of protein, I asked for mushrooms instead and there were none. So disappointed, I got back in my car and went back. I asked for a refund which they gave me but didn’t even ask if they could remake it. Big bummer, still hungry. From multiple experiences now they are a poor representation of Thai food, just wish they were better.

We tried this restaurant for lunch today. Our waitress was excellent. She provided us with good choices for lunch and made recommendations. The food was delicious. The spring rolls were probably the best we have ever eaten. All of the entrees we had were great. We will be coming back again and will bring friends.
