We were looking for a soup dumpling restaurant in the Milwaukee area and found the “Dumpling House” via THE Google.
When we entered the establishment we were greeted by very disturbing EDM (Electronic Dance Music) which is very similar to Techno Music playing loudly in the dining room. We both enjoy most types of music and we were hoping that it was just a track or two, but were very disappointed that the music never changed from that genre. Ok so they play loud and obnoxious music, but we were hoping for a decent soup dumpling.
Our server spent most of his time behind the bar looking at his phone. Because of this, the service was slow. He never checked in on us once our food arrived and never filled our water glasses.
Now for the food. We ordered an order of pork soup dumpling and an order of fried beef dumplings. It was sub-par. The soup dumplings did not have any soup in them. Ok, there was a teaspoon of soup in one of the dumplings out of 8. When we opened the fried dumplings up they were not fried. They looked and tasted like the pork soup dumplings. There was also an odd taste to the meat in both of the dumplings.
We do NOT recommend this restaurant.

It has a great atmosphere and set up , they advertise hotpot but it didn’t seem to be available due to CV19. The food was pretty good , well presented with nice plating. Where the score goes down is the bathroom they definitely need to remodel or tiddy up some things in there that seem quite obviously dated. Otherwise decent experience.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Food is always fresh and delicious. The presentation is beautiful and I love the smaller portions they give so you can feel out if you need to order more or not I’m a fast eater so I get full quick! I would recommend coming here most definitely!!

Decent place with really good service. They were not very busy when I arrived but you could they had been based on the piles of plates that were on some counters.
You can fill out a card for the food you want and the wait staff was quick to swing by and pick it up. The food takes a bit longer than I would like to get prepared so I would recommend ordering more rounds with less qty.
They have other options than all you can eat but I did not try that.

Wasn’t expecting the spicy tuna rolls to be minched tuna mix with tempura, not much flavor, bland and not spicy. The chicken fried rice was delicious, the miso soup was on point, and the tempura shrimp rolls was very good per my husband.

The waitress Wes very sweet and helpful. She answered all of my questions and always was smiling. However, the quality of food was just average. Seemed very slow for a Saturday dinner, but many people might find this a huge plus. I would give it a try again some day.

I love coming here so far I’ve come here 4 times and I always get the all you can eat sushi. It’s incredibly good. I love being able to try different kinds of fish and rolls. Their rolls are all very well made. I never tried mushroom soup before and it was way better than I imagined. My favorite soul is their fish soup. The broth has enough seasonings and the fish in it is cooked well. If someone were to ask where to go for sushi I would say Yamato.

From my experience, this place has been spectacular. Never had experienced bad or unusual service. During busy times it takes longer for food, but as expected. Our recent experience, the server brought out an extra set of chicken teriyaki. When we couldn’t finish it, he ensured that we wouldn’t be charged for the leftovers. But the food is always delicious and well worth it.

We had the all you can eat sushi per person. For dinner after 3pm it was $26.95, and for lunch 11-3pm it is $13.95. You fill out what you want on a sheet of paper, and then you get what you picked. The sushi rolls were amazing, the company was great (I took my son to dinner). Our favorite was the Pheonix roll, the middle one. We ate 6 made to order rolls, and we both would go back again!
