Amazing Vietnamese food. The place is really small but very cozy and the food is great! We had the shrimp rice paper rolls and the Pb sauce was so good! We also had Pho and the sticky Tofu rice dish which were both also very yummy. While we were there we also had to try the Vietnamese coffee which didn’t disappoint either. I went to Vietnam in 2019 and have to say this place is legit!
Will definitely go back !

Very friendly staff. Pho was just ok, not served with the traditional plate of sprouts, basil and hot peppers. Had to ask for jalapenos. My wife had the pork belly tacos, she liked them I didn’t. This place is almost authentic Vietnamese, but not quite.

Nice food with real flavor. The space is super small and getting a seat in the winter can be rushed. But the food is delicious and the staff is very kind and fast. I will try to come back in the summer to seat outside. I ordered a shrimp with orange sauce and my daughter had a steak rice dish, both were spicy, as described in the menu, and we liked. Parking very limited so carpool if possible. The price is spicy too, but that is a good option when you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat some real food with fresh ingredients and less chemicals. We will come back.

Stopped by for a wonderful lunch. Staff was extremely helpful walking through the menu and making sure we had something our little one would eat without too much spice. Bahn Mi’s we’re authentic and delicious. The bread always makes or breaks a Bahn Mi for me and this was spot on. Heat level was perfect in both the shrimp and beef sandwiches.
Seating is limited, but tables turn fairly quickly as our food took less than 10 minutes to arrive.
We will gladly be back again in the future!

Finally had time to check out this third, regional Nonla location. As with the others, it didn’t disappoint. High quality, thoughtful dishes and staff that was on point. Will definitely return and try other menu items. Like the other locations the tables are few, but there are several outside and the parking is probably the best of all the locations. Give them a try.

Multiple orders received have been incorrect. Most recently my sandwich was add bacon, add jalapeño, no mayo… came with no bacon and mayonnaise on it that looked like they had kinda tried to scrape off, which to me says they read the ticket and realized what was going on but didn’t really bother doing the right thing and instead just sent it out. The Brussels were absolutely SWIMMING in honey and were not pleasant as opposed to other times.
We called to let them know that it was incorrect, they took our phone number for a call back and never reached back out.
Annoying enough that my orders are fairly consistently incorrect, but to not follow through with contact when we were told that’s what was happening displays a disregard for customers. It seems like it CAN be good, but only sometimes.
Boo.

I heard this place had amazing burgers but they seem just alright. It’s what I expect when I order a burger.
Very limited amount of seating. You may have to end up parking far away if it is remotely busy there.

A small but cozy place that we found on Google. As a fan of pho, both my husband and I ordered Beef Pho. Soup taste pretty good, but beef and noodle are not enough. And it’s a bit pricey. You can get same quality food with bigger amount at a lowee price in Chicago!

Nonla is a gem of SW Mich! While the seating area is small, the atmosphere, quality of food and good service totally make the possibility of waiting for a seat worth it. Every item I’ve had is wonderful, with the chicken wings being my guilty pleasure. The patio seating in warm weather is great and makes this a top pick all year.

Synopsis: personal atmosphere, great food, and solid service delivers a 5 star experience.
Review: A few coworkers and I hit Nonla for a celebratory lunch. The place is small, but it lends itself to a feeling that you’ve discovered something secret and just for your.
There were quite a few items that piqued my interest (especially the bowl of fried rice), but I finally settled on the barbecue barbacoa sandwich with shrimp chips.
The food came out within 15 minutes. The last bite was just as good as the first. My sandwich was quite spicy without burning. The shrimp chips were interesting. Fluffy and light, they created a satisfying crunch with a gentle shrimp flavor coming at the end. The first few were tasty – by the time I finished them off, I was over it. I’d do the side salad next time.
The fried rice bowl – technically a side – looked delightful. I’ll do that next time.
If you’re in Mattawan and looking for lunch or dinner, go to Nonla. You won’t be disappointed.
