I visited Passion Fin for the first time yesterday, and from the moment we walked in, it was an amazing experience. The restaurant was completely packed, which honestly gave me peace of mind because busy places usually mean fresh ingredients and great food. Even though it was crowded, we were seated within two minutes, which was impressive. The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything the entire time.
We started with seaweed salad and clear soup, and both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Our sushi arrived quickly and was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. Every bite tasted amazing. The server checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, we left very happy and satisfied. I highly recommend this place, definitely check it out!

This Japanese restaurant is exceptional — easily the best in the area. Every dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients, and the presentation is as beautiful as the flavors are pure. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which adds to the experience. From start to finish, the balance of quality and hospitality makes this a place worth returning to again and again. It’s my favorite place so far.

We visit Passion Fin often and have since we moved here in 2017. No matter what other sushi bars we experience we ALWAYS come back here. Locally, the quality cannot be beat! The staff are absolutely amazing, so attentive and friendly, I feel as if we are a part of a family. Star is absolutely the best! The dining area and sushi bar area are extremely clean and the ambience is just perfect. As you can see by the pictures, their sushi is spot on. Great quality and care is taken when preparing the sushi. give it a try and see for yourself!

Passion fin has been in the Ashburn area for over a decade and every visit in that time has been consistent in quality and met with friendliness from the staff. You can taste the quality and the freshness in all of the meals offered here, and the sushi is especially good for a reasonable price. It’s also a great option for takeout.

I think that this is still the best tasting sushi in the area. We used to eat here more frequently when we lived in Brambleton but relocated to western Loudoun a few years back so don’t come as often. But I had lunch here the other day and it’s still the best I’ve had around. It can get busy in the evening so plan accordingly. Be aware that it can be a little loud at night when it is busy but I don’t mind that.

Passion Fin has two of my favorite sushi rolls of all time — the sweet potato roll and the amazing roll. Never disappoints. They also have a very delicious Indian Pancakes with the spicy chicken dip as a great starter.

Soft crab appetizer was good and sushi was awesome. Hibachi chicken was disappointing, big cubes of chicken and a bunch o zucchini with fried rice. Thai red seafood combo had shrimp and scallops with imitation crab, again with a bunch of zucchinii and tasted just sweet. Felt like it was from a bad takeout place.
Service was great.
The sushi was delicious and the presentation was really good. None of the other dishes worth the premium price.

Every time we’re in town (we live in Seattle), we always make a stop at Passion Fin because it never disappoints. The hibachi chicken is consistently delicious, the sushi is fresh, the chicken katsu is perfectly crispy, and the pad Thai is full of great flavor. We also love their tasty cocktails and refreshing Thai iced tea. The food is reliable, the drinks are great, and the service is always friendly. Passion Fin truly delivers every time.

I had a large party from my church this week, we were about 15 people. The reservations were seamless. I’ve had a lot of situations and other restaurants where my reservation is lost, but these guys even rescheduled me from February to March and we’re friendly and welcoming. They set up the tables to my liking and the service was right on point. The food is spectacular, the presentation is honestly the best I’ve seen and everyone in my group was happy. I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great sushi and great service. Thank you Star and thank you to everyone at Passion Fin !

Update, because our waitress Lauren is next level. Her humility and passion to make sure everyone has a great experience was top notch. She is awesome. So friendly, and we enjoyed our meal so much.
