I am thrilled to say that Black Rifle Coffee Company in Woodstock has quickly become my new favorite coffee spot, and it truly deserves a five-star rating.
From the moment I walked in, the experience was fantastic. The whole shop was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained, creating a bright and comfortable atmosphere—a huge plus for a morning stop. The staff here is what really sets them apart; they are so friendly, engaging, and genuinely funny, which made the start to my day much better and added a memorable, welcoming energy to the place.
On the menu side, I decided to try the hazelnut caramel black coffee and it was absolutely outstanding. It was perfectly balanced—rich in flavor without being overly sweet or artificial— and completely delicious. Not only is the coffee top-tier, but everything is offered at a great and fair price, delivering excellent value for the quality. Service is great, very polite, attentive and friendly staff members. Ordered a matcha late. Spacious place to come and enjoy a cup of coffee or eat whatever you order while you work, study or meet! The team here is helpful, respectful, and genuinely kind — they’ve made my time in town that much better. Neal, in particular, has gone above and beyond during my visits. He always serves my coffee in a beautiful mug with a plate to complement it, a small touch that makes the experience feel intentional and elevated. One hell of a way to start your morning!! Absolutely phenomenal service! I usually go with baristas choice when trying a new coffee place or location, they did not disappoint. The coffee was delicious! I didn’t get the bearded guy’s name but him and Ash were extremely friendly and suggested a lot of ideas. Thank y’all for awesome customer service!

Alison and Ellie and the owner LJ were absolutely wonderful! I ordered a coffee with blackberry trying to be adventurous with Alison and Ellie but ended up not liking it. The owner as we were talking immediately offered to have them make me something else. I ended up getting the same drink as my hubby but iced a salted caramel chocolate drink. Forgot the exact name but its absolutely delicious! Outstanding customer service and they have coffee you can buy whole or they can ground it however you like! 10/10 we will be back for more coffee for our espresso machine and probably an iced coffee because who doesn’t love coffee you don’t have to make yourself haha

We stopped in looking for a decent coffee having driven down to GA from NJ with far too much terrible gas station swill and overpriced Starbucks burnt roast. When we pulled into the drive thru, it was dark, but a voice came over the speaker “can I help you?” As we started to order, the gentleman told us they had closed 15 minutes earlier and had shut down or cleaned the machines. Bummed we got ready to drive away, but he chimed in “I can get you something cold brew or iced tea if you want and pay credit because I’ve yet to close down the machine.” We chatted about coffee and he offered us a Nitro cold brew that was fantastic: strong and perfectly balanced java. He and my husband introduced themselves. LJ, the owner, was a gracious barista and heck of a good guy. Honestly, the hospitality he showed us we expected to find in the south, but turns out he was also a Bergan County NJ boy! Truly unexpectedly perfect coffee stop. We went back several more times before our drive home. You got to stop in and pick up some coffee, even the shop was stocked with a great variety of beans that we took home. Support vet-owned business. Get caffeinated.

They are back open and better than ever! If you’re in Woodstock are looking for the best cup of coffee bar nun, then come to Black Rifle Coffee Company on Hwy 92.
This store, which is privately owned, has not only embraced Black Rifles corporate look, it has also taken their menu down to the last detail. It is amazing the change from the previous owner and will surely not disappoint.
New owner-operator L.J. is here to make sure your coffee and culinary experience are exemplary. The staff I met on this visit was Chris behind the counter and Zach, who went over the apparel with me and made sure I had a great experience.
The new menu of hot and iced coffees has a very wide variety and excellent selection. The new food menu is filled with culinary treats that are standalone or complemented by one of their coffee beverages. Whether you’re looking to just pick up your morning cup of coffee, treat yourself to a very tasty latte or cool down with an iced coffee or latte this is the place to stop.
By the way, don’t forget to pick up a bag of black rifle coffee to take home or donate one to Woodstock’s finest in first responder services.
