I use to order from here all the time years ago then I moved out of the city. I recently placed an order from here and it was not the best. Upon my arrival to the store, the door was locked after a short time a woman opened the door asked for my name and told me she’ll be right back. Strange! She then returned with my order.
The chicken patty was delicious 10/10
Curry chicken was dry and lacked curry 5/10
Greens were okay 9/10
Mac& cheese HORRIBLE! Lack cheese & favor 2/10
Seafood salad, eww! Warm and just eww 0/10
Fish was good 10/10
Peas& rice was basic, wasn’t good or bad 7/10
String Beans, I didn’t like 3/10
Conclusion: I would order the chicken patty and fish again. Open up your establishment and engage with the community.

Make sure you call first to order they meet you at the door for payment and give you your food from there too, they are very nice on the phone as well, the food was very good try the Mango chicken it comes with two sides and try the plantains, everything was delicious, affordable and you get a good portion of food. Ever since covid you’re not able to go into the store and sit down to eat. I didn’t realize it was takeout only. I’m not a fan of standing outside the store waiting in the cold, but I did get oxtail collard green and sweet potatoes. The oxtail and greens were a little salty for my taste, Can’t judge atmosphere because can’t go inside. I’m still looking for a favorite place to go for Jamaican food.

We placed our order over the phone, the woman who answered was extremely patient and kind. It was a large order: the jerk chicken platter was more than I could eat, so I’ll have some leftovers for tomorrow . My bro order the salmon and he enjoyed it thoroughly. Also don’t forget about the tea it delicioso! Overall the experience was great, the price is set perfectly and the food is excellent. If you are looking for a Jamaican spot check this one out.

The popcorn shrimp was rubbery, Mac n cheese wasn’t even baked and didn’t have cheese in it. The yams were dry as hell and they were not sweet. I ended up going to Wendy’s. The food used to be to be way better then this… I am very disappointed ☹️ 1/100

Over priced. No test. Will charge you for oxtail sauce when you order oxtail platter. Never heard of this before. Even chinese don’t go this low. This is similar issue with most Jamaican restaurants now a days. The good old days are gone.

Can’t say enough about the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. A wonderful place for groups or if you want to just hang with that certain someone. A variety of wonderful entrees and desserts to choose from, Soulfood to Vegetarian!

Before your meal is bagged, it is shown to you to make sure everything is to your liking. I could go on speaking highly about this place, but then you’d be wasting time reading “this”, when you could be “there” enjoying a wonderful meal….well….except on Mondays….lol….sadly….they’re closed.

A couple of weeks ago I called and ordered a 3 platters with Whitting, greens and yams. One of those orders was an XL. Instead for the most costly order I got Basa which no one in my group eats. I called the store as soon as I could and they assured me that someone would call me back. I even sent them a picture of the incorrect order and I have called twice since then and no response. I used to like this place but it has become obvious from my experience and a couple of other people I know that the customers are no longer respected. Therefore I would not recommend this restaurant any longer and I will consider the other options for Caribbean food in the area and city.

Wow! Delicious, efficient, and best bang for your buck in this area. Royals is one of those hidden gems that you definitely need to try! My favorite is the BBQ Chicken with mac&cheese + potato salad. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it!!!
