This was my husband first time here, and we’re not sure if we got super lucky or what, but the sushi quality was exceptional. I have been to many sushi places, and this was the best by far. We had 6 specialty rolls, which were perfectly balanced and well portioned. It almost rivaled an omakase. The fish quality was delicate, especially the tuna. It didn’t have a sharp or strong fish taste to it. I usually like ginger or some wasabi on sushi, but I could not care for it here. There would usually be one roll we would consider mediocre, but not here. My husband got the Thousand Island roll and it had me jealous it was on his plate. The portion are bigger than the average sushi size, so we thought we may have regretted ordering 6 specialty rolls, until we realized how good everything was. As we were getting full, we were sad about struggling with the last few pieces. No worries, no sushi left behind! The service was excellent. Heck, even the napkins quality almost felt like nice towel. The bill came out to $140 (not including tip), no regrets. I was not expecting to find a hole in the wall in Watertown NY out of all places

If you’re looking for better sushi in Watertown definitely recommend coming here! Of all the places I’ve been to in the area, it’s the best. Only downside is the price definitely reflects that, so if you’re someone looking for cheaper eats maybe not the best place.

All of the waitstaff are upbeat and friendly. The chefs are incredible at entertaining their guests while preparing fresh and delicious food. The establishment is clean and the amosphere is beautiful and bright! All around, we had a wonderful dining experience here and will come back again!

Spouse and I came to Ruyi Japanese Steak House Thursday night and we were surprised how packed it was! We had a small wait time to get seated but once we did, everything was prompt. Our check at the end was over $100; however, we believe that for the quality and the amount served to us, it made sense.

Had an amazing time here! We came around noon and we were seated immediately. The waitstaff was extremely kind and pleasant. Quick to refill our drinks and make sure we were all doing alright. Our Hibachi chef was very funny, definitely put on a show for us which made the experience all the better. Overall, an amazing time and I will definitely be visiting again!

Went with the hole family and we all had a great time eating together. I ordered a bowl of ramen and, personally, that boiled egg was the highlight of the plate. I give the flavor and consistency 10 out of 10. If only I knew how to make those flavorful eggs, my life will be much better

This is a great hibachi place with a nice selection of fresh sushi. I’ve been several times, and each time ALL of the staff were incredibly nice, polite and attentive.
I’ve been several times now and the drink selection is great, and the food is excellent and fast. If you prefer a booth and cold dish like myself, I recommend the Dragon Rolls, pork gyoza, and whichever cocktail catches your eye. Highly recommend!!

Ginger salad and miso soup were good, but nothing extraordinary. Sushi rolls were also good, but not worth a rave review. Atmosphere seemed a bit dated. Server was attentive and timely.
